I have been watching this product for a very long time and have been so excited to finally be able to try it out.This curling rod is perfect for very— very— long hair. The reviews are not joking when they mention how long and large the barrel is, and it is a little cumbersome to try to use for the first time. But just as I wanted, my curls came out so loose and beautiful. I wanted a tool that could create a very natural and gentle look, and so this works for me even if it looks a little undone. By the end of the day my hair was mostly unraveled, so I’ll likely need to try different settings and products, but even unraveled it looks so gentle and nice. I’m very happy with my purchase so far. It’s expensive but I hope it will last.

Perfect for long hair and loose waves.

I was so exciting to try out this curler because they have been advertising it everywhere! The curls that the videos show online are not how my hair turned out ! My hair looked stupid and not like a curl should look. It looked messy. Maybe you have to have super long hair for it to look good??

I love this curler! I have tried for years to get my hair to curl the way I’ve wanted it to without any luck or success… until this curler! I love that the curls are loose and wavy. Finally a curler that works for my hair!! So stoked!

No matter how hot or how long I held this on my hair, there were no waves or curls. Just some very subtle kinks. Not a good look.

Was excited about this because of the size & the fact that it doesn’t have a rest clamp BUT the highest heat setting I was comfortable with was 390 & it still wasn’t curling! I keep it on for 10 seconds each strand & it would just fall!! The wavytalk wand I like BUT it does have a rest clamp that gets stuck in my hair when I’m wrapping it, which is the only part I hate! I do use heat protection but I don’t want to chance it! The highest heat this wand goes is 450, which is insane! That’s extremely high!! Oh & where the heat button is positioned I kept changing the settings because it is where I position my hand!

I have never been able to figure out beachy waves with a normal iron and after I got this I can do them in about 15 minutes and people always compliment it. It is a little hard not to burn yourself because the wand is very long but once I got used to using it it's been smooth sailing. Highly recommend.

Ordered this product yesterday and it arrived today. I have always been a curling wand user so I am used to wrapping the hair and don’t even know where to begin with a curling iron clamp. I usually use a shorter/round barrel. I do not think the barrel is too long as some of the other reviews have said! I have extremely long thick hair and I love the wave that this oval wand gives!! It heats up very hot and gives the result I was looking for!The only negative thing I can think of is that the button is very easy to push while you’re holding it so it’ll change the heat setting. Not a huge deal but does kind of get annoying to keep changing it back.
