The powder isn't too overpowering and doesn't stain, but covers enough to give a real make up experience. The case is also super cute. Smaller case than expected, but super cute for the price!

My 13yo daughter loved receiving this makeup kit for Christmas. She's just barely starting to get into makeup and I thought this was a great starter kit as it comes with pretty much everything. She loves the eye shadow colors and loves the box it came in. The only thing I had to add to it was a set of makeup brushes and a lash curler. Definitely recommend for your teen who is just starting to learn about wearing makeup.
