Great light, if you have the money
This is a great light and was easy to install. The metal construction is nice and the fact that there are 5 individual lights on it that can all be independently controlled is great. While Hue lights are never cheap, it seems that you could use regular hue bulbs in an existing fixture for much less. Unfortunately for me, I really liked the look of this light to replace an aging light that I had in a living space, so I bit the bullet and spent the money. I don't have buyers remorse about it, but if you can ever find it on sale, it'd be better.

Terrible Mounting System
Poor design for a mounting bracket. Instead of having it easily mountible to the existing round junction box; this way, would have allowed you to do minor adjusments, by rotating the lighting gantry. NOPE, you have to square out two holes, then drill into the cieling. Not that easy, especially when you have measure a long distance from the wall. Best part: YOU HAVE TO BUY YOUR OWN MOUNTING SCREWS! you have to drill two holes into your cieling. Good luck trying to square it off. Give yourself 15 minutes, before you want to through the thing accross the room.

Simple and works well, but expensive
I was surprised when taking this out of the box that there is nothing inside but the light fixture itself - no remote, no power cord, nothing. Of course, the back of the light comes off to reveal the wires, and it really is not that hard to install. But everything is controlled by an app or the Philips Hue ecosystem. If you have already bought into Philips Hue, then this is a pretty good addition. If you have not yet, be prepared to purchase quite a few other devices - I hope you have deep pockets. Each light in this fixture (two positional spotlights and a fixed light) can be controlled separately - so you could have three different colors and patterns going on simultaneously. All from the app, of course. Which works quite well, honestly. They make a larger version of this light with 4 spots and a longer fixed light.

Be aware for dimensions problem
I have to return the fixture because it is too long to fit in the space available. I should have pre-measured and checked the length in “Product Specifications”, right? But I did check and Amazon’s product spec’s say it is 50.8 cm long but it is actually 99 cm. It appears Amazon has switched the product spec’s for this 4-spot light with the similar 2-spot light. Otherwise the light is fine. It arrived quickly and undamaged. I have many other Hue products and they work great.
