Doesn't work... the convincer is meant to be stronger than a hum
Dont waste time or money... it makes a slight hum noise and completely ineffective by comparison to the one our trainer had. The pet convincer is meant to be louder than the pet corrector... this is WAY less than the corrector. Not worth it, will try another product. Oh and if you are trying to return because you say it doesn't work, they take you to a troubleshooting page and then still won't let you return it. Very frustrating.

Looks janky but works LIKE MAGIC! *use cautiously, however, if your dog is prone to seizures.
OK- The blister packaging made "The Convincer" look a little cheap, I'll admit. And I thought, "This is never going to stop Zero from his aggressive barking." Essentially, this little device is canned air on steroids and uses a tiny, replaceable CO2 cartridge to blast air, along with a high-pitched noise that dogs seem to hate. It worked!First, the PROS: I only had to use this once, spraying a little puff of air on Zero's shoulder. He backed off immediately and went to the living room to hide. After that, I only had to have the device in my hand and threaten to use it, to get compliance. So, it could probably work on your dog too. To test if this will annoy the crap out of your misbehaving mutt, do a little experiment: Hold your dog in your lap and gently blow on his face, ears, or neck. If he's like my dog, he'll show obvious displeasure; maybe even try to run away from you. If he doesn't care, then this Convincer may not work.Potential con: Zero has seizures and I kind of surprised him with the air blast. This apparently triggered a mild seizure. Now I know correlation doesn't equal causation, but the seizure seems to have come directly on the heels of me using this device. So, if your dog has seizures, be very, very cautious when using. Don't spring it on the poor pup.Otherwise, this MADE IN THE USA (yep, there are things other than debt and phone apps still made in the USA) training tool is pretty useful for those with doggedly determined canines on a destructive warpath. Or, annoying little yapping purse dogs like Zero.

Don’t waste your money
The product came defective and the co2 bleeds out when I screw it in. The seller won’t accept returns or do replacements. Waste of $45 I tried 2 co2 cartridges and they just bleed out right away. The product is defective and can’t get a replacement.

Cool product, could work great with proper training techniques
This is a pretty cool device to Aid in training your dog. You have to use proper techniques of course, otherwise introducing it to your pet could be stressful, or possibly even get you bit. Everybody knows dogs do not like anybody blowing in their face LOL this is different, and they even tell you to aim it at their shoulder. It comes with seven cartridges, each one says it is capable of giving off seven bursts of air. The cartridges are really easy to come by online, it is the same cartridge for CO2 tire inflators. This device actually looks almost like it could be used as a tire inflator as well, but I think it is a little different, I'm not sure if it's worth trying it, it is not what the device was intended for. It does exactly what it says it's supposed to though. When you get it you just make sure the safety is on and open it up, screw one of the cartridges in tightly, then whenever you are ready to discharge it, take it off safety and pull the trigger. It releases a lot of air quick, it is mainly the noise that grabs the dog's attention. And, it does that well. Overall it is a pretty cool device, really easy to use, and works exactly as it's intended. If you are thinking of trying something new this may be the perfect option.

Junk
The cartridges leak while not in use so basically you have to constantly replace it…might get 2 puffs out of one CO2 cartridge. Not happy at all.

Not loud - very disappointed
The can of compressed air from staples makes more noise than this does. Very disappointed. Pet corrector cans work much better.
