Best sauce there is.
A taste of my childhood in Ireland. It goes with lots of things but it's especially lovely in a rasher sandwich or on a steak. Love it!

NOT to be confused with Hendersons 'Yorkshire' Relish
Please don't confuse this scrummy product with Hendersons 'Yorkshire Relish' Although 'Hendos' is made in Yorkshire (Sheffield) - and deservedly very popular - that is to Henderson's own family recipe. Genuine 'Yorkshire Relish' [trademarked] is a different product, with different ingredients and (IMHO) doesn't taste the same as Hendos. It was developed and marketed by the firm of Goodall, Backhouse & Powell in Leeds, Yorkshire, also based on a family recipe going back to 1837. At one time it was the most popular relish in the world, with sales exceeding 1 million bottles a year. The original firm is long-gone, but Yorkshire Relish is still marketed and now called 'YR', available through Amazon market place from a much later offshoot of Goodall, Backhouse & Powell based in Ireland. I give Hendos 4 stars but 'YR' is definitely worth all 5 stars. 'YR' is noticeably thicker than Hendos so IMHO nicer as a spread, say on buttered toast. The squeegee bottles are handy as you can store them upside down (the caps don't leak) so the contents sink down to the cap end. The squeegees are plastic so not likely to break and are translucent so you can see how much is left. Strongly recommended. Enjoy.

Good but expensive
Just as I remember and not disappointed with the sauce, but I found it too expensive to continue buying this product. I use to obtain this sauce in supermarkets but for some reason that has not been possible for a number of years such a shame.

Not what I expected.
I was trying to buy Hammond Sause, made in Yorkshire, but disappointed when it arrived. Not the taste I wanted but I decided to keep it. Anyone know where I can buy Hammonds Brown Sause ?
