I love this light. It’s now my go to for fishing!
Ordered this on a whim and I’m hooked. I’ve always used a clip on light for my hat, but this one is a game changer. The battery lasts forever, and I use the red and moonlight modes constantly. Highly recommend. Just grab orange color so it’s easier to spot since it’s so compact. Couple other notes the beam of light has a nice wide almost sort of flood. It was one of the only lights we had a campsite that didn’t attract bugs in the red mode. Power buttons are super easy to use your can get into/out of moonlight mode very easily. Still has a magnet so I can easily store it with my other lights at the house on the side of metal tool box. Seems super tough so far! And I absolutely love the clip on position you can put it on your T-shirt, neck or front pocket allowed me to use both hands and I was super easy to grab for to turn on and off. I don’t think I’m ever going back to headlamp.

Great for night running!
I bought this to replace a headlamp for night running. I wanted something lower price, smaller, and simpler. I found it perfect to clip onto the front-middle waistband of running shorts. The light illuminates the ground centered 5 ft in front of me which is perfect to avoid obstacles. I use it on the lowest brightness setting and it is enough for paved trails in complete darkness and no moonlight. Clipped anywhere else resulted in off center lighting or bouncing around too much. It would also work great on a vest. I won't bother going back to a headlamp after using this. It is small and light enough that I don't notice it at all.If you don't use the clip, it also has a strong magnet and a hole for a lanyard.Charges quickly and holds charge for a long time. More than enough for long runs. It came with a USB charging cable, but no USB to 120v adapter so I needed to use a spare.I was also considering the Pro version, but this one is already more than enough. I chose this one because it is smaller.

Amazing little light - buy one if you are even remotely interested!
Ahhh.....ok..... NOW I get the hype about OLights. This is my very first Olight, but it will be one of many.As soon as I unboxed & got it into my hands, I could just FEEL the quality. This thing is a precisely machined & beautifully designed instrument. Very impressive! The form factor is extremely unique & convenient; I've never even seen a similarly shaped / designed light for sale. If you are looking for any sort of a clip-on light, this is your light right here...look no further. The clip is surprisingly strong & robust, and the addition of quality & perfectly placed ridged rubber pads on both sides ensure it stays PUT wherever you clip it!I'd love it if they released a larger version with an even deeper clip / ability to clip onto even thicker items. The UI is a bit confusing at first - or maybe that's just my ADHD brain, but I got the hang of it & really like it. The memory function is absolutely superb, for both red & white lights. You single-click for white light, double-click for red. If you last had the light in red flash mode; from the off position, a double-click of the button will take you back to red flash. If you last had it in red solid mode, a double-click of the button gets you back there. And yes, the memory persists (hence the name) for both red + white; even if you used the opposite color light in the interim..... very slick. If I was forced to pick a few nits it would be:- "Moonlight" isn't. I find "Moonlight / FireFly" modes to be the single most useful output mode on any flashlight. When you are in a very dark place and simply want to navigate around (campsite / tent / bathroom in a dark house), you will sear your retinas if you turn on 100 or Heaven forbid 1,000 lumens. I absolutely love Moonlight modes. It's the perfect amount of light for 90% of situations for me personally.- I wish the "moonlight" mode on this OLight was LESS bright; it's advertised at 1.5 Lumens, but feels even higher than that. I wish it actually was a true 0.5 Lumen moonlight / firefly. Make firefly dimmer, please, OLight.- I wish the white light was less of a spot and more of a flood. The light has a very prominent hot spot - even in "moonlight" mode - and on a light like this, it just seems strange & out of place. With this light, I want to illuminate my path, the general area I'm in, etc; not shine a spotlight on anything far away with this light. More flood & less spot would be awesome.- The red light - oddly - is exactly that; an almost perfectly uniform little flood-y wall of red light; zero hot spots; just a gentle flood of red light. (There are FOUR Red LED's, vs. ONE white)- I wish the white light was exactly as flood-y as the red.- This is more of a comment / observation, and might just be me personally, but; most of the time when I go to turn this light on, I find myself getting confused between the USB Port Cover and the actual button. They are almost identically sized, and perfectly symmetrically opposite from each other. Perhaps move the USB port to the bottom of the light, or at the opposite end of the light, instead of directly opposite from the on/off switch?- The battery port cover, by the way, is also exquisite; it's again perfectly machined / produced, and has a very nice, perfectly fitted, seemingly durable silicone / rubber port cover. It's the type that has a little stem holding it in; you can pull it up & all the way out, and rotate it completely out of the way of the USB port if you so choose! Just give it a gentle tug & rotate as you are pulling it.- The little grip nub on the USB port to help you open the charging port is obviously a tactile point that my fingers feel + again get confused which is the switch. Many times now I've found myself frantically pressing the USB port, and wouldn't you know, the damn light doesn't turn on!Other than that, this light is absolutely amazing. These are just very minor observations / preferences & I rated this 5 stars; didn't deduct any points for any of these.Oh, I totally forgot; not only does it have a gorgeous clip; it also has a hole in the clip so you can attach a retention cord / lanyard, etc., AND it's magnetic....!!!This really is an amazing little light & I'm tempted to get a couple more.

Perfect for Ultralight Hiking
Was between this and the pro (didn’t need the ultra because I don’t need UV) but this little guy is absolutely perfect for securely clipping onto the shoulder strap loop of my ultralight hiking rig. I like it because I can turn on one of the lower settings (there’s four brightness modes) if it’s approaching dusk before I reach camp. I’m very glad I didn’t go with the pro because this is super small, super secure, and throws plenty of light for even the darkest of nights on the trails. The design is fantastic and there’s no impact on comfort. Very easy to function one-handed, and the price is fair, given it has a machined aluminum housing and a magnet built in.

Handy…
This is a very versatile little light that comes in handy more often than I had expected. Very happy with it. It has a nice bright, light on its highest setting and is easy to adjust between the different brightness levels. The magnet holds pretty well and the light hasn’t fallen off when using the magnet to hold it in place. The clip holds tightly to a shirt or pants pocket with no trouble at all. I would definitely recommend!

Olight Oclip
I absolutely love my olight, Oclip, the magnet makes it easy to place it, for quick use, the clip to place it on my shirt at night , the size is good to carry around, not to big when I place it on my shirt. Most of all the different settings of light briteness, which is three, and the red light itself. My only complaint and its not a big one is the battery only lasts for a couple of uses now and I have had this light since April of 2024 and it is now September, I do however, use it a lot and have to charge it sometimes once a day. All in all, love this little light and would definitely buy it agaIn. I do recommend this light as its a GREAT EDC and all around good use flashlight.
