I got this for my Boyfriend who was bereft after his wired Razer headset, which was a gift (an over $250 gift), from a dear friend, died mysteriously after the cat snacked on a wire or two. I was told that nothing would replace the Razer, a headset that was in this price range, let alone a wireless, would be so bad, the boys online would know and one, would tease, and two, the gift giver would know his gift was broken.I got these anyway. He was so sad when he heard the Discord notification noise, I had to do something. He told me he'd try, but he had no hope.We charged these headphones and I thought "Well, maybe I just bought myself some gaming headphones and he can just suffer until I have money for new expensive ones".He put them on while I made dinner and I didn't see him for an hour and a half. When I finally went into the den to see what happened, thinking he'd be morsels text messaging his Discord buddies, he was yelling into the headset and the TV was showing a bunch of God's and Goddesses duking it out onscreen!Before he could know I was there, I heard a friend ask a question and ge shot back, "yeah these new headphones are great! They have way better clarity than my other ones.....yeah I'm glad I upgraded too! Yeah and they're wireless! No more wires for the cat to chew on! The best!"Smiling to myself I went in and asked if they were OK. He told me in no uncertain terms that the clarity matched, if not was better than his Wired Razer headset with microphone. We charged it overnight when it came out of the box and after that he played from 11am until 1230am with no problem and no slow down, no volume fluctuations, no problems. The microphone just plugs right in and can go either way, so if you prefer it on the right, you can have it there. If you prefer your mike on the left, you too can have your preference. The ear cushions are very comfortable, even after hours of play or use and it has noise canceling features so if volume is kept to lower levels nothing escapes the earpieces and it is difficult to hear that which is outside the earpieces if one has them on properly so you are directly in the action. Friends report that the microphone is very good, no static, garbling, or dropped messages. All in all, the headset out performs our wildest dreams for the price and we can't believe we got such a great piece of gaming gear for the price.

I bought this set for my nephew for his switch. I’ve had high end headsets in the past, but he’s just getting into it, so I didn’t want to drop a lot at first. I have to say, this set sounds pretty dang good. The surround feature works great, as well as the mic and wireless setup. I have zero complaints.

I was looking for a wireless headset to upgrade my 3.5mm gaming headset, and was just attracted by the cool design of this one. The major issue with my old 3.5mm headset is that the connection was so poor that the sound would be broken here and there very frequently. And a wireless headset using digital transmition would be a guaranted mitigation to my problem. And the only thing I was worrying about is the latency. And it turned out that this works just fine. There is no noticable delay in audio based on my test, and the sound quality is more than enough for me playing valorant. The headset comes with a USB dongle that supports both usb a and usb c connector, and also claimed to support bluetooth. I was not able to figure out how to set up the bluetooth connection, and since I wouldn't use it anyways due to latency concern, I didn't even bother trying. And the only issue I have with the headset is that whenever I mute or unmute the microphone, there is gonna be a voice cue saying "microphone muted/unmuted". It's good when I use the headset for the first time, but as I am getting familiar to it, it's acutally getting annoyed for such a long cue. And to make things worse, when the voice cue is played, the headset would lower the volume of the pc sound. Think how destructive it could be duing intensive gaming. I could miss some very important sound information because I just want to unmute my microphone to deliver a message to my teammate. So I would suggest replacing the voice cue with beeps, i.e long beep for muting, and short beep for unmuting.
