Unconventional use
My application was rather unconventional. I used them on the back of my washing machine to cut down on noise and hoses rattling against the back of my washing machine. Worked perfectly! Great idea on my part. Lol.

Acoustic panels that actually work.
These are some of the only pre-built acoustic panels I have found that actually do a great job of reducing sound reflection. I'd recommend picking up three 18 packs worth of tiles to effectively make five-tile tall groups positioned around your room. They're great! Completely finished my setup thanks to these. Most acoustic *foam* does not work. Literally, just does not work.I'm talking about sound treatment, not sound "proofing" here. If you are looking to *sound-proof* ANYTHING, do NOT buy acoustic panels or foam at all. The only thing that will sound-proof anything is solid matter, like concrete or wood.Sound treating on the other hand, involves reducing the reflection of sound off of the surfaces in a space. Acoustic foam you'd normally get (that wedge-shaped stuff you see in youtuber backdrops that looks really cool) is simply not dense enough to effectively absorb enough sound to prevent a reflection.

I’m not gonna lie…..
Honestly after searching a ton of acoustic panels I settled on this because everything pointed towards these being effective. I am not impressed. I purchased 5 boxes and my wall is covered but the sound was barely muffled. My problem still exists - noisy neighbors. 🤷🏽♀️

Does the job
Good adhesive, easy to apply but hard to cut. Overall it’s doing it’s job.

They actually work!
One of the rooms of my house has a radon fan on the wall outside, and it causes a 24/7 low vibrating hum which is kind of annoying and is audible throughout the room. I had my doubts these acoustic panels would help, so I bought just two packs and put them on the wall. It's only halfway done and already I can tell there's a huge difference!!! The room is now like 3X as usable as before! It's not completely soundproofed, but the noise is dampened enough that it's not very noticeable. I ordered two more packs to finish the wall! I'm super happy with these. They also look nice on the wall.

Ineffective
These foam panels are much less dense than other panels I have purchased. I can't tell any noise reduction after installing them.

These are cool
Used them for my ceiling in an office pod I built. The adhesive is strong and I don’t think they will fall. I was a bit skeptical at first, but no, the tape is strong. Happy purchase.
