It great, I use to use their other products while in the military and I love them. Rain, water, washing machine, or blood it able to write just fine. Just make sure you don't use GEL pens it smers super horrible but it already recommended not to use GEL pens with rite in the rain products. I recommended using there pens for double the effectiveness.

**Q: Will getting blood on it ruin it?**
A: I have only had blood smears from my gloves get on it and it hasn't caused me any problems. I tear out the page and dispose it as soon as I transfer the info onto the the organisation's official Pt care record. For me it is a notepad to quickly record important info. Hope that answers your question.

**Q: I didnt read any item details yet, but what kind of pen is needed for this notepad?**
A: Any writing utensil will make markings on it. If you need the ink to be weather resistant as well you will need to get a weather resistant pen.  It's a great product, I use it on the ambulance and the paper hold that great even in driving rain

**Q: If I use pilot friction pens is this reusable?**
A: Hi Heather, thank you for your question. Even though the ink from a Pilot Friction pen won't dry properly on the page, you will still experience some ink smearing on the paper if you wipe it off, so it's not recommended for use as a reusable notebook. Thank you for your question!

Was rain proof. Held together well. Functioned as should. Asked the write questions I needed to know. Had extra room for extra documentation. Easy to use. Didn’t get torn apart in a day. In fact lasted all the way through using it. Would have bought another one but I left the field to become a full fledged alcoholic.
