GLX GX11 Compact Motorcycle Helmet - Matte Black, Medium - Full Face w/ Tinted Visor, DOT Approved

This is a pretty nice helmet! I had been wearing a cheaper Triangle helmet for years, and following the general 5-year rule I decided it was time to replace. I'm glad I did!The pads in this one are much more substantial, and the shell feels sturdier while only being slightly heavier. It did feel pretty tight putting it on the first time, but after the pads have broken in a bit, it's gotten more comfortable. Just be aware that it'll probably feel a bit small if you're coming from a helmet you've been wearing for a while.I appreciate the addition of the free tinted visor, and while I generally prefer to wear prescription sunglasses under a visor instead, it's a nice option to have if I ever want to swap it out.I like the color a lot too - it seems like the vast majority of helmets are solid black or white, or an extremely ugly pattern of some kind. I like the simple matte olive green since it looks nice without cooking your head under the hot sun like my old black helmet did.The ventilation is good - it keeps your head cooler on warm days with the vents in the top and chin. They aren't the best and you're still going to get more effective ventilation by cracking your visor, but they do help. The vents are also styled in a nice subtle way that don't make it look like you're trying really hard to look like you're from the future like a lot of the other cheaper ones.My biggest complaint is that the ear padding is really thick, and it's hard to keep earbuds in if you're wearing them while you ride. I have to cram my hands into either side to reposition them into my ears before I ride, which adds a solid 90 seconds of fiddling with the helmet every time before I get on.Another minor complaint is the nose redirection thing to keep your breath from fogging up the visor. If you have a schnoz like me, it's going to hurt whenever you put the helmet on. Thankfully, it's easy enough to pop out though.Overall, this is a really solid helmet! It's on the higher end of the cheap no-name helmets, and I'm glad I sprung for the better quality one this time. I have a hard time justifying an expensive new one every 5 years, but a quality helmet at a good price point like this one encourages me to actually swap it out when I'm supposed to.

I absolutely LOVE this helmet!!! I have a pretty small head (21 inches in diameter) and the helmet I was wearing before this was a size Medium that was given to me. It was way too loose and heavy, so I ordered a small. As soon as this helmet was delivered I switched to the shaded visor and tried it on and it fits PERFECTLY! I love the sleek look with the dark visor. It is lightweight and is not noisy from wind. I am beyond satisfied with this product and would purchase again in the future.

Good product ... especially for the price. But very small for a size Large. Fits more like a medium for me. Works and doesn't hurt ... but it is a squeeze to get on! If I ordered again, I'd order a size up.

This helmet is amazing. Comfortable and breathable. My only issue is that it does tend to fog up if the vents are closed. I love that it came with both clear and tinted visors. The sizing is dead on.

wind noise but what you’d expect looks great padding felt nice after breaking it in changing out the ease of installation it has two vents on top and one near the mouth overall greasy product features functionalality

i got my size based off the measurements and it fit perfectly it’s comfy but still snug. seems good for the price! just needed a dot approved helmet before my course and this will do the job 👍🏻

seemed to be a great helmet for the price, fits good I got compliments on it too , HOWEVER the kneck & chin padding do not stay in the helmet they fall out every time you put on an take off the helmet, I really is a nuisance, in the photo I attached you see the issue,you should be able to just side the inserts back in but the come right back out! you could technically just superglue then in, I almost did, because it seem to be a great helmet for the price, but then I realized that i'd be screwed when its time to take them off to wash the still give 3 stars because other than that its is a great helmet, I almost kept it.

This helmet is very sturdy without alot of padding without being super heavy. The dull face shield is amazing for day and night rides. It doesn't get super hot under the helmet with all the ventilation.
