I didn't realize til I got home and opened them that they were garbage (1/4-3/8" thick Masonite; literally just a panel....as in one side of a hollow door). The ones at Home Depot and Lowe's weren't any better. Instead, I picked up some 1-3/8" solid core door slabs (doors without the hing slots and handle holes cut) for $50 each and used this kit to make the quality bypass door setup I was looking for, for not much more than the set I returned (I have about $130 in this set, versus about $90 for the cheapo set). This hardware is great and served the purpose of what I needed it for, two sliding doors underneath a workbench at the store. Allows me to 'hide' my clutter as my wife put it. I was able to use two different width sliders and they both slide effortlessly.The up/down adjustments work too in order the level the doors to one another. There is two different ways that these can be installed, reason being that they are designed for different width doors. The instructions are very well laid out and explain it nicely.I needed to cut off one end and really didn't take much effort with a hacksaw.My onlywish was that there was a way to 'stop' the roll from rolling off the end. Typically this wouldn't be an issue but for the way I installed I needed it. I solved this issue by simply putting a self tapping screw on the end of each slider track. I used for 1 3/8" lower flush doors, and 3/4" upper MDF doors. Nice smooth hangers with easy adjustment for plumbing with side jambs. The bottom guides and pulls are gold/brown color, so I bought other accessories; white plastic for guides (Prime-Line Products N 6563 Sliding Closet Door Bottom Guide, 4-3/16 in., Plastic, White), and brushed nickel for pulls.
