Consistently Excellent: The Elegoo PLA+ Black 2x 1kg Pack is a True Workhorse
I have always been impressed with the quality and value offered by Elegoo's products, and I'm happy to report that their 2kg multipack of black PLA+ filament is no different. This is a fantastic, reliable filament that has quickly become my go-to for a huge range of projects. From the moment you open the box, the quality is apparent. The pack contains two individually vacuum-sealed 1kg spools, and each one is immaculately wound. This attention to detail is crucial as it prevents tangles and ensures smooth, hassle-free printing from the start of the spool to the very end.In terms of print performance, this PLA+ is flawless. It required minimal tuning to get dialled in, and the results speak for themselves. The extrusion is incredibly consistent, leading to clean prints with excellent layer adhesion and minimal stringing. The filament produces a deep, satin-black finish that looks professional and clean every time. As a PLA+ material, the prints also have a noticeable improvement in toughness over standard PLA, making them more durable. The 2x 1kg multipack is a fantastic value proposition. It offers a great price-per-kilogram and the convenience of always having a fresh, sealed spool ready to load up as soon as the other runs out. It's perfect for stocking up on a reliable, everyday filament.Overall, if you are looking for a dependable, high-quality black filament that you can rely on for print after print, I can't recommend the Elegoo PLA+ 2x 1kg pack enough. It lives up to the high standards I've come to expect from Elegoo, and I am, once again, a very happy customer.

The filament is always neatly wound, which ensures smooth feeding into my 3D printer without any tangles or jams. This attention to detail in the winding process really sets it apart from other brands I've tried. In terms of performance, the filament does an excellent job. The prints come out with a smooth finish and minimal warping, which saves me a lot of time on post-processing.Another aspect that I appreciate is the consistency in quality. Good prices and good filament.
I pretty much now exclusively print with Elegoo. No issues with quality I have used about 10kg so far!Perfect prints and great colours. All but one spool wound perfectly.I have never had any damaged spools.I use these in my Bambu lab printer using generic pls profile but normally just use the bambu pla profile as I forget to change it, never an issue.I suspect Elegoo's own printers may produce better prints with their brand of filaments?

Worked perfect for me on bambu x1 carbon
I recently purchased this PLA+ filament and I'm really impressed with the results. The wood colour is great and accurately represents the natural look of wood.I used it to print some footing for my garden fence, which turned out great. The filament was easy to extrude and had a smooth finish. (bambu carbon x1)The only reason I wouldn't give it 5 stars is that it seems this particular colour has been discontinued. I'm not sure why, but the company doesn't list it on their website anymore. This is a bit of a disappointment since I loved the way it looks.Overall, I would still recommend this product to anyone looking for high-quality PLA+ filament. Just be aware that the wood colour might not be available in the future."

Quality at an affordable price
The ELEGOO PLA+ filament is fantastic! It prints smoothly with no clogging or stringing, and the layer adhesion is excellent. The dimensional accuracy is spot on, which makes a big difference for detailed prints. I also love the strength and slight flexibility compared to regular PLA—perfect for functional and decorative prints alike. No warping, great color quality, and reliable performance. Definitely one of the best filaments I’ve used. Highly recommend!

Brilliant filament, perfect colour, worked well!
This filament has turned out really well and prints nice on my Anycubic kobra s1, moisture wasn’t bad at all, colour is on point with the image, no stringing, does not tangle on the spool, and it’s quite bendy and doesn’t really snap without a lot of force. No noticeable odour.

Good quality and fairly transparent
Strong filament with a very smooth texture. I'd recommend using a higher infill or only using it for thinner prints as the infill is visible since it's transparent. Assuming you do have a high infill, it looks great, very transparent and probably suits what you're printing if you're looking at transparent filament.
