Rockadex Adhesive Patches - Compatible for Freestyle Libre Sensor, Freestyle Libre Adhesive Patches (Beige)

The sizing is a little off, they stick better if you make sure your arm is clean and then wipe it with alcohol. Stays on without any edges coming up about 6 days max. (I work with kids and have my own who often see it and try to mess with it)

The patches were supposed to cut so that you could see all of the colors of the rainbow, but they were cut sideways instead so each patch only has 2-3 colors. They way they tlare cut makes them ugly. I won't be using them.

These patches are made from kinseo tape, which means they are going to be super sticky and adhere to everything they touch, because that is what kinseo tape does. They stretch and move with the body to provide long lasting support.Like with all kinseo tape products, when applying, ensure you have cleaned the surrounding area, just as if you were prepping to install a sensor. Be sure the skin is clean, dry, and free of oils. When properly applied, these protective patches have survived swimming, sauna, Disney World, deep tissue massage, and strength training... all in the same week. If an edge starts to come up, as will happen with all kinseo tape products, just trim it off if it bothers you. For skin health, do not try to make them last the full 14 days of your sensor. They should be changed out as directed on the packaging, and allow your skin to breathe between applications. (Do as I say, not as I do. I’m fairly rough on my sensors. My patches last about 7 days, but I will let my skin air out over night when changing them.)The hole is a bit fiddly. But, there are videos on YouTube which describe how to apply them by yourself and those worked well for me. These patches are also available from the manufacturer’s website without the hole. But, with practice, I am able to use both varieties with confidence.

This product DOES work in helping to keep the Freestyle Libre on. BUT there is no way you can apply it yourself because of where the FL needs to be placed so make sure you have someone to help. And it isn't easy even for a professional medical person to apply it. If you can get it on right, it works. But if you don't, it gets caught on your clothes and then starts pulling off. So basically, you need someone with a lot of patience to put it on and you need to be prepared to change it every week, not every 2 weeks like the FL lasts for.

This product is made from 2" rock tape. Not bad stuff, but let me explain the problem. First, they should have used the 4" roll because they compromised the ammount of surface area by cutting off 2 sides of the doughnut. Second, there is no split in the tape backing so you have to remove it completely making it flimsy and fold onto itself. Other types have a 2 piece backing you can remove as you go and don't need long fingernails or sharp tools to apply. Last since the item was all floping around on install you had to peel it apart in the process any oil or contaminants compromised the adhesion so after 1 shower the edges are peeling up giving removability 5 stars. You can get a 16' roll of rock tape and make your own for a couple more dollars. If the 10 I purchased were only 3 dollars instead of 15 I might not be as disappointed.

These are the best ones yet! Stay on the entire two weeks I have on my sensor. Only frayed when I had been swimming on vacation.

Outside edges do not seal well, do can only be worn a couple days. No adhesive burns tho. Love the design. Its a thick fabric bandage for the Freestyle Lines 14 day round sensor, open hole in middle.

These bandages are practically unusable because the bandage materials are so thin they cannot even be applied without folding all over the place. The adhesive is so strong that it sticks to your fingers making the application even harder. As far as adhesion itself, it is great (as it needs to be), but the logistics are just too impossible to make them usable. If you have a partner to apply them this may help a lot. But it takes more than a big hole punch on a standard bandage to sell a product RockaDex.

These were good, but needed to be replaced often. They did extend the life of my sensor but they didn’t stay on for the full two weeks. Sometimes I added one horizontally and one vertically and it helped, but the price is a bit expensive for the amount you get.

Came in a pack of 10. Easy to peel, harder to apply. First time is difficult - sticky and sticks to everything. Once I figured out how to apply, it was so easy. It will stay on even after taking a shower. I've changed twice in a 10 day cycle. No discomfort when wearing. Sometimes trying to remove - pulls on my hairs. But overall - good product. Will order different color next time - just to be different.

Came early in a huge box. 🤣

It didn't work the first time we used it, the second time we used 2 of them to overlap however the Libre has stayed on.

This Product did not keep the sensor on my arm. And when I had a shower it fell right off.
