I ordered this after purchasing a pet trimmer and vacuum, all in one. The last one wouldn't cut my poodles fine, soft, curly hair, no matter how I tried it, it would just slide right over it. I opened this one and loved the quality weight, sleek design and accessories. I charged it and WOW! It cut her hair like butter with a very soft humming noise that is more soothing sounding that would calm most pets. It charged quickly and I had plenty of battery life left. Now I look forward to cutting her hair instead of dreading it. She sat much better for me than when I used scissors. I think they looked like a sharp mouth coming at her. I am REALLY glad I decided to pay the $ to upgrade, they were very reasonably priced for the quality!

I have a semi long hair cat that got VERY matted fur this spring, which was compounded by tiny plant burrs after I let him outside! I was able to EVENTUALLY get the mats and tangled burrs out, even tho he didn't end up looking very respectable! :P. I cleaned the clippers and set aside in the bathroom. My son saw and tried them out and said they worked well for him and liked that they were quiet and cordless. My only issue with these is that they're hard/finicky to turn off!!

Just received item today. Tried the shears out on our Poodle that has very thick hair!! Trimmed around his chest and neck area-amazed how easy they are to use-cuts great! Very satisfied!

We have four standard poodles and if you've ever had a poodle you know how hard they are to keep up with their grooming. I thought for the price they would be just enough to get by between professional groomings but these things are really good! Since we've got them we've done all the grooming ourselves and they work beautifully! They've already saved us a ton! Highly recommend!

I do like using these clippers. They are an improvement over the last one I had. They cut well and I don't have to worry about my dogs getting a cut somewhere like the last one I had. My problem with them is that I have difficulty turning them on and off. I push and hold the start button several times and it doesn't always start so I have to keep trying until it turns on. It is the same with turning it off. Push, hold, push, push, hold. It gets frustrating but I like how it cuts so I put up with it. I would like to know o a solution for this though

The clippers don't cut through hair well. Once you get through the first layer of hair, they start to cut decent, but it's hard getting to that point. Battery life is good, they're quiet, and I like the fact that you can increase and decrease the speed is nice, they just don't cut through hair that great.
