Update 2yrs later!! Such a great gun!
2021 UPDATE: I’m updating this review because im so impressed with the quality of this little tack gun over the past 2 years! Ive shot approximately 47,000 tacks with this gun (in a manufacturing setting) over a 2yr period. Last week it finally broke - Not sure what broke but a long rod just fell out the end. I immediately ordered another gun and am happily shooting tacks again😁. This tack gun is a great value and a little workhorse! This gun works really well! I used 7/16 upholstery nails with 5/8 shank with no problem. So much easier than hammering them in. Board was pretty quick to load also. Very pleasantly surprised:)

Total time saver
This gun is such a time saver! I upholster mostly vintage and antique furniture and have always hammered the decorative nails in one by one. It takes forever and I always end up with broken nails. This gun cut my time by at least half and I had no broken nails. I used it on double layered cowhide and it worked beautifully. My only wish is I would have bought this gun sooner.

Awesome tool!
I had 5 chairs I was refinishing. After spending 3 days hammering just to have them bend, pulling them out so I could have a chair that looked like a 3 year old did it I decided i would purchase this tool knowing it would only be used for one project. I can emphatically say it was. Almost all of the tacks went in beautifully and tool a fraction of a time to finish. Well with the money!

This gun is a life saver. Practice with this before using. But it is a great time saving product.

Disappointed
Just tried to use this after having it for over a year, it was still in the box. It was broken. Will not buy from this company again.

Holy moly! Just buy it!
The media could not be loaded. I just stopped midway through my project to write this review to save you…save you from hours of frustration, tears, jacked up tacks that don’t go in all the way, tacks that don’t go in straight, tacks that get scratched as you hammer them in, not to mention the potential damage to the surrounding wood and fabric on your precious work of art. When I searched online for fast, easy and professional decorative tack installation (which I did about 50 times) all I got were the dumb old ways you’ve seen a million times. I’m SHOCKED this wasn’t in the first 100 results. I’ve wasted hours, days, maybe weeks, listening to people talk about homemade spacers, tack hammers (which scratch the hell out of polished tacks), using pliers to hold the tack, etc. and followed their advice with horrendous results mist of the time. Throw all that neanderthal advice out the window and get this gun now. This is by far the best deal I found and I’m beyond THRILLED I decided to make the investment. I had no idea these existed until, on a whim, I searched “pneumatic tack gun” imagining there had to be some smart people using something similar. When I saw the name “C.S. Osborne” pop up I knew I was headed in the right direction. Ok, now click “Add to Cart” and go sit by the front door for it to arrive. Your life is about to change!

Works Like a Charm....buy it now!
I should have bought this 20 years ago. The best thing since sliced bread. Works like a charm. Load tray, hold gun over nailhead and then shoot into place. Perfect everytime! Cuts the time down considerable. Dont hesitate to buy it...you will fall in love!

Saves time when putting nailheads in furniture
We love our new pneumatic decorative nailhead gun. We have been putting nailheads in manually for years. This cuts our time in half. It's easy to load and accurate to shoot. Best of all, it was affordable.
