The frame is sturdy enough, but the absence of a back does not make this a perfect fit for everybody. It works fine for our needs because we jury-rigged brackets in the back, but it also means we aren't going to be adjusting the shelves.In short, without a back and without notches in the shelves, the shelves will slide forward and back. Unless your shelving unit is snugly pressed against a wall, you stand a good chance of pushing a shelf off of the supporting pegs. It's not a great design for all-purpose shelves.I noticed that the pictures show a back. This is not the case. Our package did not come with a back.

We bought 4 modular cabinets. We put together the first two without directions. By the time we opened the third package we already figured out how to assemble them and no longer required directions. It would be super helpful to have directions for newbeeies. Quality is great. Looks awesome in our closet. Love how you can keep adding pieces to create the look you desire.

Pro: The product was very well built. Con: there was no assembly paperwork for this product of any kind in the shipping box. Extremely frustrating.

Great product easy to assemble even without the instructuons. Only complaint is pictures make it looks like it has a back..it doesn't!

was what i was looking for to put in garage as shoe holder. bonus was that it is plywood, not particle board. didn't see the shelving holes on outside of cabinet but its for garage so no big deal.

Nice product, well made. However, better instructions and parts labeling would be helpful to inexperienced homeowners.

I installed this inside a closet that needed more shelving. What an improvement! I can now utilize the full height of my closet and keep stacks tidy.
