So happy to find this advent calendar! The fishing tackle is such a clever idea!!

I’ve given my Grandson (now 18) an Advent calendar every year of his life. Always the candy, Lego, Star Wars, tanks & Jeeps or other toy ones. Looking for something different this year when I saw the fishing lures. It had good reviews so I gave it a try. What a delightful surprise. He loves it & we were amazed at the quality & assortment of the lures. Maybe not Luhr Jensen quality but he says he can use all of them. The frog is darling others match or resemble lures he has in his tackle box. He thanks me every day for not giving him a candy or toy calendar. He’s growing up. Definitely *****

Got this for my 14 year old son to open through advent. He loves fishing and is at a hard age to buy for. He enjoyed opening every day. I asked for his review and he said 5 stars bc it has a lot of cool stuff and it’s fun to open. The quality isn’t the best but he did enjoy opening them each day. The only negative is the amount of spoons and he doesn’t know about the quality of the items, but he will give them a shot.

My husband fishes. I do Advent calendars every year. He usually gets to watch me. This year he got one of his own. He loved it. He opened his doors as I opened mine. We had fun with it. We won't know how he will do fishing until summer. He liked the lures and some he really liked. It was priced well for our budget. Overall it was a hit for us.

I really wanted to LOVE this advent calendar! Purchased for my 16 year old son who is an avid fisherman. Day 1 he was very pleased, but we did immediately notice one thing. When you open a door for a day, if you tilt the box AT ALL, or try to peak even a TINY bit, you can clearly see what types of lures are in the surrounding days ahead. It would be nice if they had made the inner plastic a dark color, or even black instead of clear to help keep the mystery going!The lures seem to be just fine quality wise, definitely on point with what I’d expect for the price, BUT I wish he was getting more of a variety! Days (I believe it was) 6–8 he received spoon lures every day! We are now 4 days until Christmas and he’s received 5 spoons all the same except different patters or colors, which are barely different.Overall it’s ok, but I won’t be purchasing another one.

Cheap lures, but great for a kid. There was a nice variety and it was fun to open for a new one every day.
