First of , the LED batten arrived without any damage. Thanks to the amazing packaging by amazon. Unlike the old CFL tubes these don't need a big holder.This LED tube light comes integrated with the holder. You have to remove the old tube light fitting before installing this one. It comes with clamps and screws. Nothing else to buy, can be installed on wall right out of the box with the help of clamp and screws.The box also contains installation manual.●●THINGS I LIKE●●- Easy installation- Much longer lifespan than fluorescent- Includes good instructions- Quality packaging- Quality build and product- Very efficient, low energy consumption.- Very pleasant light compared to my fluorescent 6100K bulbs...which seemed harsher now in comparison.- Cold does not affect this bulb. After it comes on it is fully lit...unlike the fluorescent bulbs that take a while to come on fully in the cold.- They don't get as hot as fluorescence light bulbs. If you have light with paper shades that are only a half foot or less from fluorescence lights youmay have noticed over extended use, discoloration in the shade; these lights shouldn't discolor your shades.After everything was done I can definitely say that these lamps are brighter than the fluorescent tubes they replaced. It just consumes 22w and delivers 2400 lumens bright light with a Color Temperature of 6500K. I compared it with a 40W cfl tube from crompton greaves and the LED batten was slightly brighter and cooler. Also there isn't much of shadow.Old Fluorescent tubes are also naturally frosted and not at all difficult to look at directly especially against the wide reflector. On the other hand the LED tube is a strip of bright pin-point lights, which is harsh to look at especially against the reflector.And finally it comes with 2 yr warranty. If anything goes wrong within that period then give them a call at 1800 425 1969 and get the address of your area retailer or distributor and show the copy of bill and get it replace with new one in case of any manufacturing related problem.Knowing what I know now, would I buy this product again? I am writing this review after using the product for more than a week. This is slim beautifully cased 22W 2400 lumens T5 LED tube light. The regular Philips fluorescent 36W tube light is of around 2450 lumens. This LED tube light is easily a 100% replacement of any 36W fluorescent tube light or even more for that matter as the spread of the light is way more than that of a fluorescent tube. I did a lot of research and this is the only LED tube light available in Indian market that is of 2400 lumens. I could literally feel the difference when I replaced my fluorescent tube with this LED. My 15 feet by 12 feet room filled with amazing brightness when I self installed this very light weight LED tube light and switched it on. The product manufacturing date is new, the packaging was decent and the product arrived 2 days before the due date. The MRP is 990/- but I bought it in lightning deal. Overall, a very good product. I'll buy more when there is lightning deal again. Thanks Wipro for this amazing product and thanks Amazon for the exceptional services !

If you are looking for an LED replacement for old 36/40w fluorescent tubes then look no further. It is a true replacement for them.The quality of Wipro's 20w LED tubes I have bought earlier is great. Their after sales service is exceptional. My only concern was the efficiency of the LEDs. Wipro has solved that problem with their 22w LED tube. It now produces 109 lm per watt.Totally, it produces 2400 lumen. On paper, it is equivalent to a 40w fluorescent tube. But in reality, it can light up a much larger area since all the 2400 lumen is produced only at the front side of the tube.Overall quality of the materials used is good. The translucent front diffuser and the base are made of polycarbonate plastic. The diffuser spreads out the light evenly and it does not create shadows.It is good for large rooms like main hall, drawing room, dining room etc.. You may find it too bright for bed rooms. Unlike fluorescent tubes, its light is not pleasing to the eyes if you directly look at the tube. For bed rooms 18w or 20w LED tubes would be a better choice.I bought it from Amazon for ₹689 per tube. If you wait for some more time the price may come further down.Amazon's packaging and shipment was excellent. It looks like the packaging was especially designed for shipping LED and fluorescent tubes.

I am writing this review after months of use and I must say the product is upto the mark. But if you are buying the product by thinking of its warranty service. Never go for any product of Wipro. Their after sale service is a big zero. I haven't received a replacement even after one year of complaining. Its never gonna happen. I have never seen such an irresponsible bunch of employees who are not ashamed to tell that we are not responsible for Online purchases. If they aren't ready to provide service why do they list it over here? I recommend Amazon to remove all their listings as they are reluctant to offer service. I request you to kindly switch to any other manufacturer. I made a purchase last year a quantity of 10 nos. out of 10, 3 weren't working after 5 months of usage. If you're looking for a use and throw batten then i recommend wipro. Otherwise i suggest a BIG NOOOOO.
