I couldn't wait to try these tins for candle making. They are the perfect size and color. The lids were also great.

The faux wood lids on these matte black tins look really cute. Paired with the right labels, you can create casual or fancy candles for gifts, without upsetting the budget for supplies. The tin surface is pretty durable too. The exterior and interior are the same. The tins are coated and can be scratched with metal abrasion, but are not easily scratched. They are not fragile or prone to flaws or flaking.The lids are a nice snug fit, but also not hard on the hands or difficult to remove. We know that some of the tins are super difficult to remove. These simply twist and lift off, no threads on the tin, which looks nice and clean. I prefer the look without the visible screw top lids. The metal is a firm, thicker gauge and I like the weight and feel of them.The wick stickers adhere well to the bottoms and the lid works great as a trivet to protect the surface under the candle, from potential over heating. All 24 arrived in perfect condition, and all individually wrapped and damage or blemish free. I'm enjoying using these tins, and I am very happy with them.These tins are as shown in the ad and work great for soy, bee's wax and mixed wax candles.5 stars

I love these tins, they are perfect for my jewelry and gifts business, as I've recently started making candles. The wood lids are a great quality - I can engrave them, so they make even nicer gifts.

These jars are a perfect sample size for any item. They are smooth and just a little shorter than a toothpick. The top looks like wood but it is metal like the bottom half with a wood design (it's not a deal breaker but still cute!) The tin material is not scratch resistant so I would handle with care. Otherwise, you would enjoy using these!

I got these tins for candle making knowing the description said 4 oz size, but I think they are better suited for other uses. I think they are the perfect size for diy lotions and skincare products. The cover is a screw on type lid that isn't actually wood, but rather wood looking. The lid is made from the same tin as the jar itself. But it is a nice contrasting look. The screw on lid seals well, and does a good job keeping the contents inside without leaking. I didn't notice any rusting or discoloration when I used it for storing homemade lotion. I also made 1 candle with these tins and was pleased that it didn't get too hot to handle when the candle was lit. They work well for various crafts or if you choose to use them for storing small items. Good quality with various uses, just be aware that 4 oz isn't much in terms of size, depending on what you plan on using them for.

These tins would be great for wax melts or some other small items. I haven't tried a candle in them, but would be concerned about it getting too hot. The lids are a faux wood design, which from afar is more aesthetically pleasing than up close but not a deal breaker. Labels would be easy to adhere for customizing. The lids fit snug without being hard to open which is also a great plus.

I was in need of a uniform candle container for bulk gifting and these are doing a great job so far. Lightweight, but still functional and aesthetically pleasing. They hold the candles nicely and the lids are also a nice touch. I wouldn't suggest setting these on a table or surface that is not heat resistant when lit, but otherwise they're quite nice.

I have ordered many different tins trying to find the right one for my candles. These are by far my favorite. They arrived in perfect condition - NOT dented. They didn’t have any flaws or imperfections. And most importantly it is super easy to remove the top, but they also close tightly. My customers are going to love these !
