My teenage daughter is anemic and even what the doctor prescribed was to upsetting on her stomach that she threw up so bad one night when starting that pill from them even eating with it. She loves this one and doctor says this is good one. Never upsets her stomach, no side effects. She loves the taste. And you can take 2 for the more dose if you need one and don't get side effects still. So when your daughter is not getting sick with side effects it makes a parent happy also. I highly recommend this especially for teenagers in this situation.

I was anemic as a kid and did not take my iron because it made me super sick. So later, as an adult I find that I'm in a bad place because I haven't been taking my iron. I go to the health food store and try 18 mg of ferrous iron in the late afternoon and end up being up all night with terrible stomach pains. I returned that and got this. With this product I soon built up to 2 each day at the same time and no problems at all. I take them with orange juice just to make sure I get the most absorption and avoid anything with calcium in it for at least three hours. I know I have to keep up with this for awhile to get feeling 100% but that is required no matter what product I use. So glad to of found this! No more chewing reg pills. Chewing standard pills of iron is the worse thing in the world and no syrup hides that taste. These give off absolutely no horrible taste. The taste and no side effects will help me stay on this for the long run.

I started using this iron 3 years ago while pregnant when my Obstetrician told me my iron was low. I was looking for an affordable option and after reading reviews on this one I asked my nutritionist if it looked ok & she said it looked decent & to give it a try. It’s easy to take, one small pill chewable pill that has a pleasant slightly sweet orange flavor. My next bloodwork results showed that my iron level was great and I’ve been taking it since. I believe I felt Jess fatigued after starting it. After initially bringing up my iron level, my nutritionist suggested taking it the every other day and that’s still working out for me. I remember years ago hearing that iron pills can cause constipation but these don’t cause any problems for me, they’ve only helped. I would recommend this & I wish there was a subscribe and save option for this product b/c I’ve ordered it on a regular basis.

UPDATE: I tried these vitamins again and they are not so bad. They do still have a bit of an aftertaste that you have to get used to, but they taste alright and have not given me any more heartburn. They also include Vitamin C, which helps with iron absorption. I think they're okay if you are vegan and looking for a chewable iron vitamin.I'm usually very much an advocate for any iron vitamin that is vegan, but every time I've taken these (with food as recommended) I've gotten pretty bad heartburn/stomach upset. On top of that, the pills leave a pretty prominent aftertaste, though initially they taste good.

Most iron is nasty now. This is very tasty. I hope it works

My 1 year old is under the care of pediatrics for some medical issues. Her iron levels are normal, but decided to increase her levels to see if it would help with her specific health issues. First off, these are the easiest iron supplements for her to take. She wants more they taste so good. I take them myself sometimes too. They do not have that nasty penny flavor and scent and have not caused constipation or upset stomach like the others we have tried. It has helped somewhat with her health also. I wish these were suggested to us years ago. I had no idea they existed.

These taste great. No iron-y aftertaste. They have also been a lifesaver. My grandmother and mother have always had allergies to iron supplements but through research, I found that it may because of what the iron is bound with. Most iron supplements use calcium as a binder. (Which makes no sense because calcium prohibits the absorption of iron!!)Neither one of them have had a bad reaction to these supplements and its helped with their lifelong iron defficency.They have done a great job of raising my iron levels too. (I was recently diagnosed woth low iron. Makes sense though since mom and grandmother both suffer from it.)These supplements have helped us immensely.I take three a day.

I like that it has vitamin C and going down, it tastes better than a regular iron pill.I don't like that I still taste the iron and it seems to bother my acid reflux. I haven't taken it enough to notice a difference in my anemia.Based on taste alone, I recommend this product.
