Galaxy Tab 10.1

This is a fantastic little piece of kit which with a relatively low price and it does all that I would want. I have never used an iPad but I don't know anything it does which would make me pay around £700 for a tablet. With a micro SD card .(this is an extra) at a really low price this is a great tablet suitable for all ages. I have used huge PCs in my life but as I have now retired and money is short, I researched Laptops for the smallest prices with the best specs. Then I saw this tablet. It is so easy to use with the latest version of Android. I have always used a Samsung phone with no problems whatsoever I have super-fast fibre at home and it by far works it works better than my Kindle which was very limited. it connects and prints wirelessly with no problem and has a basic Word programme installed. if I do need spreadsheets I use Google docs and you can store tons of stuff in the Cloud. Basically cheap as chips with anything I would need from a tablet. If anything is wrong, Samsung support is there to help.

Received my new tablet a few days ago. It's a nice design in a wide screen format making it great for watching movies. There's a lot of reviews on here complaining that the tablets arrive configured to a foreign language. Mine also arrived set to Spanish. Changing it is *really* easy as long as you follow these steps. When you first turn the tablet on it will boot to a welcome screen. Mine said "Hola!". Below the hello message is a drop-down list of languages. Make sure you tap on this and choose your language (eg. English UK) before tapping the next button. That is all you need to do to change it. The tablet seems fast and responsive. The screen is great. The sound, reasonable. Disk space seems adequate, though I will still get a memory card at some point. One odd feature is that the back of the device is magnetic - not sure who would buy it to use as a fridge magnet? If, like me, you're buying the tablet to run Navionics on a boat - bear in mind you'll need to keep it well away from the boat's compass. But all in all, this is a great tablet.

Excellent value for money, so no complaints in that respect, so far the tablet is working great though only had it a few days. One concern is that whilst described as a UK version all the accompanying paper instructions were in Italian, though the set up was in English so didn't have to change any settings. It also came with a continental plug for the charger. My tablet was supplied by "Murganos" so I can't comment on other suppliers, I hope I have no problems with it as not sure it would be covered by a UK warranty, despite it being advertised as a UK version. However for the price that is a risk I was prepared to take.

We had a old tablet that was always running out of space (apps apps apps... kids never get enough). Was always a issue deleting one to get something new. Plus the hardware was showing its age with games and apps not working so got updated one. This one. It was great... the 2 minutes I got to use it. The space must be awesome as I never hear them fighting about who deleted what. The games must work as their noses are always pointing at the screen. The sound works... I often have to tell them to turn it down. Awesome tablet... in many ways. Would recommend to anyone that wants kids or family members to ignore you. In serious this is great, and whole family loves it. Batteries are great, screen is clear and crisp, sound meh okay sound being on one side or bottom is weird but got use to it and it is great (had to look for something to complain about).

When my old tablet passed away unexpectedly, I was shocked at the feeling of slight panic that gripped me. I am not a techie type; I don't have a smart phone, just a basic talking thing to call the AA if I ever break down, not even a TV; none of the things that most people seem to need to function. But I realised, when the light faded on my old Galaxy tab, that I am dependant on modern technology as well. One of the reasons for my panic was that I would have to get to grips with new technology. I was so relieved that there seems very little difference between the old and the newer. The most significant improvement, as far as I am concerned, is that the charging port is on the short end, so the strain against the port, when used and plugged in, in landscape position, is far less. The touch screen does not seem as responsive as my old one, but that might well be the screen protector that I have gone for this time. The battery life is really very good, and I am making a point of not cluttering it up with unnecessary files to waste power. All in all, I wouldn't be without it.

I absolutely love this tablet! I refuse to pay Apple prices for an iPad. And had therefore put owning a tablet to the back of my mind. Then, this popped up in the sale. At roughly half the price of an equivalent iPad. It caught my attention. Reading the specs and owning a Samsung S8 phone I decided to give it a try. I'm so glad I did! Whilst it doesn't have as many features or options for customistation as my S8. It still has the potential to be 99% as functional and as practical as my phone. I use it for games, steaming live sport, catch up TV and box sets. As well as shopping and social media. But where it really impressed me was the quality of the video. It really is great for watching your favourite shows. The ability to Bluetooth tether to your phone means you can game, watch Netflix or Facebook stalk to your hearts content whilst on the go. And the screen cast option is great for mirroring whatever you want from your tablet, to your smart TV. I thought I might get bored of this tablet once the novelty wore off. But I still use it every day! Highly recommended product.
