Good to have, if you need to stay warm
Can’t tell ya how good product is but that came on time. Have four in my car one in wife’s and two in daughters. I love the size because they can be used as a shelter if the need arises. I will get back to you if I ever use them.

Very thick mylar compared to other similar blankets
Wow I thought I ordered one Emergency blanket and a box of them showed up. I thought maybe there was a mistake made and a person or robot grabbed a case instead of a pack, but when I come back and look as the description it does say an 8pk. I used one on top of my camping cot but under the pad or mattress to help insulate the cold air underneath and I find that this is very good trick and I don't wake up so achy from the cold and have less condensation on the mattress. You could put on over the top of the sleeping bag but that would probably be to warm for me. I like this brand as they are thick enough to fold back up reuse without tearing.

Surprisingly tough
Yes, these are a definite step above and beyond what you've experienced with mylar blankets. These are more durable so they can take quite a bit more tugging and wrapping and twisting. Each blanket is packed in a zip-seal bag so I cut several 5 foot lengths and 10 foot lengths of thin braided cordage and stuffed them into each blanket's bag to use as tie-outs and ridge line. For me, synthetic braid fishing line worked best but I still experience tangles with the fishing line. That said, I've moved a couple of blankets and their cordage into some 6 by 6 inch heavy zip seal bags, such as those from Plymor, and even though this setup takes up a little more space, the benefits of having two mylar blankets and a selection of cordage has proven to be very useful. So in closing, these Mylar blankets are definitely worth your consideration.

Sturdy and effective
Nice to have emergency blanket with a covert coating on one side.As rip and tear resistant as most other emergency blankets. The green side is not a perfect flat green and is a bit reflective/glossy. Not the best for camouflage but much better than mirror silver.
