Direct replacement for AVR-2800H remote
This remote works perfectly with my AVR-2800H receiver. The volume controls stopped working on the OEM unit, so I took a chance and bought this one. All of the functions work perfectly so far.As others have noted the zone indicator flashes very brightly in use, but that doesn't bother me at all.I saw where someone was upset about not being able to program this for other devices - this is NOT a universal remote. It is intended to only work with a Denon receiver. If you are looking for a universal remote, this is not the unit to consider.

Demon X2800H replacement remote
This remote feels good and feels similar in weight to the Marantz remote I have for another receiver. Worked out of the box for the X2800H will update if I encounter any issues. Could not get an OEM Denon remote because the X2800H is “discontinued” and Denon does not stock “discontinued” line remotes this is ridiculous it launched in 2022 but at least I can buy this.
