Works for what I used it for on my sound bar

Got two kittens. They chewed a few of our electronics. Of course it had to be our new surround sound purchase. They ate the optical audio cable right off the back of the main bar speaker. Ruined the sound completely. This replacement cord fixed the problem. Now we have the sound we paid for. Thanks!

So far so good. Got the 50ft variant, gave me more than enough room to run audio from a device behind my couch to my soundbar well in front of it. You do need to be sure to remove the plastic bulbs that cover the tips of the cable, otherwise it probably won't seat correctly and I guarantee if you do manage to jam it in the port, you won't get any sound out of it.Speaking of sound, no noticeable difference in sound quality or latency when compared to my previous cable I used (with soundbar behind my couch, awkward because the directional audio was inverted) which is a good thing.For the money, this is worth a try for your application. For reference, one of the largest chain stores carries an optical cable that's less than half the length for almost double the price.
