Hunter Unisex Original Short Wellington Boots

Great condition, great item, I have used hunter wellies before and sort of new what to expect. But, this item exceeded my expectations. Very comfortable, looks fabulous, and the heel is very comfortable too as it's slightly curved and moulds to the foot. Unlike my other pair of le chameau that I have been using recently, as the sole is too flat. I believe the hunter brand stands the test of time. The calf area is not so tight so that you can tuck in thicker trousers and thick socks, etc. Its so classic and great quality too. Does what it says on the tin. I would buy this item again. Firstly, thanks to the other reviewers for some excellent feedback about these boots. They arrived on time in a well-packaged box.I chose the short wellies as I have often struggled to fit into longer boots/ wellies. They are very comfortable and fit well even when jeans are tucked in to them.I am a size 5 and I ordered a 5 after reading other customers' feedback. In my opinion there is no need to order a size bigger in these wellies.So far I am happy with these boots and would recommend them to other people. The price of these boots was also great value.

Love these, they are better than the full length leg ones because they don't split as easily. I don't buy full length Hunters anymore because if you wear them most days like I have to they only last 6 months and split across the front and on the ankles. These shorter ones still look like new though.Great colour as well they are really bright and eye-catching. I bought a size 6 and I am ideally a 5 1/2, Hunters do size quite big however and thick socks are needed!

Was very happy wiv these Welles only thing was it said they cost £60 plus free delivery in the end it cost me £75 pound for vat whice wasnt pleased cos cost more than I thought but there are very comfy I would say if u have board feet to buy next size up as wen u got think socks on there are tight to get on n off but pleased wiv them

Love these. Wanted a half decent pair where your feet can breath a bit while keeping you dry. Snug fit so you don't slide around them like cheap supermarket wellies. These don't disappoint. I wanted a mid calf too because I don't like really like the sensation of walking in long wellies! Have done festivals and some gnarly Irish weather. Still in great nick and looks like they'll last. Definitely an investment brand.

I had full height Hunters, which were the most comfortable boot i had ever owned - however, i did find them too high up my leg I am 5'3 AND 1/2. And i found the tops of the boots pinched into my thigh. So i donated my hunters to a much taller friend who is very happy with them. As i missed my Hunters, I recently brought the "short" version - and I am extremely happy, they come mid calve on me, and there is room to nicely and comfortably tuck boot cut jeans into them without them being scrunched. ever so comfy and so much lighter in weight than full height ones - i could wear them all day, rather than for walking the dog. Highly recommend, especially for those who are lacking in the height department.

Hunter boots are sturdy. I walk miles in these, plus washing down after animal care, tread is great and no leaks. Last pair I had lasted 10 years. Standard fit but I’d advise wellie socks as boots are cold in the winter. Open gap at calf height but I chose these boots for easy removal. Highly recommend.

After wearing these boots for a couple of weeks, not every day, walking my dog they split. Hunters are now manufactured in Indonesia. I repaired them only for them to split again in other places. They also leak where the seal joins onto the sole so, if you get in any damp grass let alone puddles, you have wet feet. I only started wearing these boots in about March of this year and had to throw them away in September. It goes without saying they were hardly worn in the summer. Complete waste of money - I'll stick with Joules boots in the future.

Love these boots! If you normally take a 1/2 size order down- ie: if you are 7 1/2 - buy a 7

My right foot is a true size 7 while my left is a size 6.5. Was not always like that but apparently right foot grew half a size after pregnancies with two kids. Anyway, I ordered the 6 based on reviews and here’s what happened. Wearing thins socks, the left size 6.5 foot fit the size 6 boots perfectly but my size 7 foot was too tight length wise (heel and toe on front were touching back and front of boot). Basically, the boot is a half size bigger than its number. So I guess I have to order a size 7 (which is prob equivalent to a normal size 7.5) and wear extremely thick socks. Sucks because the size 6 was on sale but size 7 is $53 dollars more!!
