I have been a car modeller for about 30 years so I have seen my fair share of good and bad modelling tools. I have many trophy's and medals for my models so I think I can comfortably say that these scalpel saws are a good product. They are thin and flexible and take no effort to cut through styrene plastic. When you have a choice between Revell products costing twice this price that do the same job, it's a no brainer.

Waste of money. It’s just a cheap plastic crafting knife with some saw blades which are too flimsy; Causing it to move when trying to use it as the metal blade is made of such poor quality and bends, alongside the low quality crafting knife which isn’t very compatible so it doesn’t tighten properly to use.Save your money and buy a metal craft knife set which is a lot more durable at a cheaper price on Amazon or elsewhere, alongside buying strong blades instead. I’ve shown an example of a metal one which is much more durable despite being within the same price range and you get more , just buy better saw like blades separately.In my opinion Do NOT buy this product, waste of money and landfill . Would love to return it but it’s too late now buy a few days, will now end up sitting in a useless draw or binned crating more plastic waste.

Easy to use and grip is ideal and blades are sharp good value for money

The blades are ok, but the way in which you attach the blades to the handle isn’t great. The handle has a plastic thread which you have to tighten onto a metal thread. To get the blades to stay tight you really have to tighten the handle, this means that you are in danger of stripping the plastic thread. So, yes it ‘works’, but it could be much better.

Blades are slightly on the thinning side but given the exceedingly reasonable price I’m not complaining - This is the perfect mini saw blade kit for model makers!

Excellent value for money

These are very small and weak. Might be good for balsa wood and paper.
