It worked just fine with an ONN tv.
I bought 2 of these since my grandchildren keep breaking and losing the tv remotes. They are a lifesaver! Easy to pair with tv. I haven't managed to have it activate the speech capabilities yet; but that could be operator error.

Cheap fix for a broken remote!
This worked perfectly. As a replacement remote, buy the remote that resembles the remote you lost. That’s what I did with this setup. I pressed the home and the ok button and bam, instantly paired with the TCL TV and good to go!

Don’t work for all tlc tvs
I have 32 inch tlc tv and it wouldn’t work for any of them cuz it wouldn’t for mine I had to buy the one that looks just like the one u came with them it worked not just cuz it says it will

This remote is Amazing!!! I have a TCL 55” smart tv that I got a couple years ago and the remote has always sucked but my cat dumped a bottle of water on it when no one was home and it fried it completely… I ordered this remote just hoping it would work and wouldn’t have to buy a new tv because there was no way to turn it on… well let me tell you I put batteries in this new remote and BAM my tv turned on! No syncing, no code to put in, it just knew it’s job and did it!!! I am so thankful for that because I did not want to buy a new tv! And the remote is better quality than the one that came with my tv!! Love it definitely recommend if you need a spare remote!!
