Great experience digging holes quickly- just take care not to use it on a drill as it can hurt your wrist if it catches a rock or root

Easy way to plant your bulbs
I had more than a 200 bulbs to plant in the fall and this made things so easy! I could probably make use of this when planting flowers in the spring as well.

Did what I needed it to do!
I had to plant several plants I had started in 4" square pots. I used a 18V variable speed drill with the clutch set at maximum. On slow speed it drilled all 20 holes in my clay soil. To get the bigger hole I just tilted the bit while drilling. Worked flawlessly even after hitting roots and rocks. What protected the auger from any damage was the drill clutch which stopped the drill when hitting hard packed soil or the roots and rocks. Just tilted the drill a bit and started drilling again. Most people that complained just didn't use the right drill.
