so rich!
This product is so rich and creamy! It melts all the makeup and spf off my face at the end of the day without leaving my skin feeling dry. It is more moisturizing than my expensive name brand one! Love it!

Good set for cleansing and moisturizing skin
This is a nice set to cleanse your skin! It comes with a good sized, waffle weave style towel, and the cleanser itself comes in a small tub. I really like that the cleanser is paraben and fragrance free, and made with natural ingredients to include vitamins E, F, ceramides and colloidal oats. This definitely helps in keeping my skin regimen consistent, as I and my daughters, have sensitive skin, so this cleanser can be used everyday, without any irritation or side effects to our skin. It has proven to remove light makeup, but mascara and darker eyeliners need a little extra effort, and that to be expected, so not a deal breaker. I’ve felt a difference in my skins texture, as it feels much softer and doesn’t feel dry, and that’s always a challenge as the winter months approach. I’m impressed with how well this simple cleanser works and am considering giving these as gifts too!

Excellent cleanser for my mature, dry skin!
I've never tried a balm like this before, but I might have found my new favorite type of face cleanser. I rarely wear anything other than eye makeup, and when I do, it's just a tinted moisturizer or BB cream with a light age-defying powder finish. I am 46, Caucasian, and would call my skin mostly dry, with fine lines and minimal wrinkles. This is a waxy-consistency balm that you scoop out with your fingers. It kind of has a raw shea butter consistency, and it melts to a smoother consistency with the heat of your hands/face. It doesn't "lather," per se, but it definitely loosens up and is easy to move around your face with water. It definitely melts away any makeup I have on my face, rinses cleanly, and leaves my skin feeling super hydrated and smooth. My only complaint is that the little tin is too small. I will be watching for promo codes to try to restock at a lower price-point. Quality-wise, it's a 10/10!! Highly recommended!

Fantastic set
I am a huge fan of Handmade Hero's cuticle oil, so this set with the cleansing balm and cuticle oil was a great purchase for me. The cuticle oil pen is travel-friendly and packed with sweet almond oil, rice bran oil, squalene, jojoba oil, vitamin E, and 8% colloidal oats so it is very sensitive skin friendly. It is one of the few cuticle oils that do not irritate my eczema-prone hands. The cleansing balm is equally as sensitive skin friendly, with ceramides, vitamins E and F, and colloidal oats in the formula to keep skin from feeling too stripped. I do feel that it is a little heavier compared to other cleansing balms I've tried in the past in that it leaves a bit of a film. For this reason, I would recommend this for someone living in a dry and cold climate as it may be more difficult to use in the summer or humid weather.

Mild and moisturizing cleanser
My skin is dry and sensitive, so skin care products I've bought at the store cause irritation, redness, and often dryness. As a result, I DIY most of my facial skin care products. Since I don't pack homemade product to bring when I travel, I usually end up using whatever is in a hotel room when I travel (far too often, a tiny bit of soap and shampoo), which often results in red and irritated skin that requires extra moisturizing. When I saw this "all-natural" cleanser, I was interested to try it and thought it might be a good choice as a travel cleanser. It goes on very creamy and does lather up just a tiny bit with water. After rinsing it off, my skin felt like it had had an oil cleanse, and in fact, there is some oil and various butters in this product (key ingredients listed on the packaging are: THEOBROMA CACAO SEED BUTTER, AVENA SATIVA (OAT) KERNEL OIL, LINOLEIC ACID, TOCOPHEROL, GLYCERIN, BÚTYROSPERMUM PARKlI SHEA BUTTER, LINOLENIC ACID, CERAMIDE 3, MACADAMIA INTEGRIFOLIA SEED OIL). It's 1 oz so perfect to pack for travel. Now that my skin is dry and moisturized, there's no redness and my skin feels plump and smooth.I'll definitely take this on my next trip and look forward to continued good results.

Decent cleansing power but small
I've used several oil balms before trying this one and I think it works fairly well, especially if you only wear light makeup at most. It has a waxy, honey like texture that melts on dry skin and spreads easier as it warms up. It does a mild job at cleansing waterproof makeup off and requires more product and massaging to get off waterproof mascara. It gets milky with water, rinses off well without leaving any filmy oily residue behind but doesn't dry my skin out either. It doesn't make my eyes sting or get blurry, which I appreciate. I have a hard time rating this a 3 but for a few reasons I'd pass on this. The main thing being the size and amount per oz. vs the quality. While it does what it claims, its much pricier and isn't as effective as some more affordable options I've tried. It's smaller than other balms and runs out much faster, especially if you have to use more to remove heavier makeup. I love the elf one and that is twice the size and only $2 more than this and it actually removes everything, even Halloween makeup. Maybe the oat mighty is a better option for very sensitive skin and those that don't need to double cleanse often.
