Some improvement
We own a lost of older 'brown' furniture, hand me downs from the family. Most older furniture does not use drawer glides so this seemed like a good idea. I'd say there is some improvement, maybe about a 20% easier effort opening and closing the drawer. (I was actually surprised at how polished the bottom of the drawers were just from years of sliding back and forth on dirt and dust.) I lined the drawers of a large chest with 5 drawers, a smaller chest with 4 drawers and a wardrobe with 3 drawers and used most of a roll of one of the two included rolls. None of these drawers were particularly stubborn or squeaky before so with some more problematic drawers the improvement might be more dramatic. I'll continue to use this tape, the only alternative is using soap or candle wax on the drawers and that wears off. There is definitely some reduction in friction and the price isn't bad. I'd recommend as long as you aren't expecting miracles.

Alternative use as bicycle rim tape.
I'm always on the lookout for inexpensive bicycle rim tape/strips so I ordered this drawer tape to test it out. The tape is made from a woven fiberglass type material very similar in look to some manufactured rim tapes. The adhesive on the tape does an okay job of holding the tape in place while installing the tube and tire and filling with air. I am testing the tape with just a single layer of tape which makes it a viable cost alternative to regular rim tape. But it is a little on the thin side so it would probably do a better job if the rim was wrapped twice. Unfortunately that then puts the cost at about equal with manufactured rim tape...so you would be better off just buying the tape made for this specific use. I'll post later in the event the single wrap tape results in tire/tube issues.

NEAT IDEA
What a clever idea to put slippery tape on stiff drawer or where you need something to move easily! This tape is smooth and slippery and very thin so it won't add thickness. A great idea; now to find a place to use it!

adhesive works well on wood
Does exactly what it says it will.got this because we have a hutch where the drawer bottoms are completely flat, so its wood on wood when opening and closing. there were a total of 5 drawers, 3 were 8in and 2 were 12in. the 12in drawers, i used 3 pieces as shown the 8in, i only used 2, made a huge difference and im no longer thinking about the dust coming out from under them.I also had some dresser drawers with worn out wear pads, so i just added this to the bottom of the drawer edges instead of using wax. that edge was rounded, so it didnt work as well, but still is in place this is strong enough to also be stapled if one end pops up (i wrapped mine around the back of my drawers and stapled it on the dresser)

Smooth Drawer Slides
Two drawers in the work shop done. The first drawer is light but after putting the tape on it now comes out very smooth. The next drawer is the heaviest, it’s full of metal junk. It has been difficult to pull out even after waxing the sides. Now after the tape was applied it slides out smoothly, much better than before. More drawers are next. One suggestion I wiped down the slides before applying tape, there was a lot of wood dust on the slides that may have affected the tapes ability to stick glad i wiped the down.

Great low friction tape.
I ordered this tape to use on some very old wooden desk drawers. I wasn't really expecting much difference but was pleasantly surprised. The drawer slides in and out effortlessly now. The tape is impregnated with a fabric that I assume will reduce wear. Overall I'm impressed with my first use. Hopefully it will last a long time.

2 Pack 1/2" x 33' Low Friction Tape to Help Drawers Slide Easily
2 Pack 1/2" x 33' Low Friction Tape to Help Drawers Slide Easily. Just wide enough to put on the bottom of quality drawers that are wood on wood; really makes the drawers slide much smoother. The teflon material will hold up to lots of wear and keep your drawers working well for quite awhile.
