In my opinion, it is strictly for low temperature cutting.

Can i order extra tips, not the machine? One of my tips has broken and i cant use it, the hooked one and the tips get thicker when they heated.

Will this tool cut through felt, or only plastic?

No, only thin plastic. A stencil cutter is a hot point, it is intended to make very precise needle point precision cuts through acetate sheets with heat at the point to make frisket shields for sprays. It would be of no use cutting cloth of any kind. This tool does not have any kind of shearing or cutting properties at all. Cut felt with scissors or a razor knife.
