Not as 'premium' looking as my last one. But it works well.
I've had one of these Remington Vacuum Trimmers for years. My last one survived for many years, but eventually needed replacing. This latest model works just as well. It's such a shame that Remington have gone for the silly lime green colour on the vacuum section. It makes the trimmer seem rather juvenile when compared to the last model, and the rest of their product lines. If you are concerned that the vacuum feature is a gimmick, it is not. If you use this trimmer regularly, you can trim your beard, and even use the trimmer as hair clippers, as the vacuum is strong enough to retail hair trimming while inverted. You just need to remember to empty the vacuum chamber regularly. If you try and do a more significant cut/trim in one go, you will overload the vacuum chamber, to the point where clippings will fall out when you invert the trimmer. But stick to that one simple rule, and you can keep your hair and beard trimmed without a clipping in sight. The only thing I do not like, is where the vacuum exhaust is. It's right where you would naturally want to hold the trimmer while using it as hair clippers. But my previous Remington was the same, so I am used to passing it from hand-to-hand, to avoid covering the exhaust port. There is something quite satisfying about leaving the bathroom, with a trimmed beard and hair, without needing to brush hair from either yourself or the bathroom floor. Recommended.

Good trimmer - noticed the improvement upon upgrading
Had a previous Remington vacuum shave which i replaced because the battery didnt last more than 2-3 minutes by the end. I hadn't realised how blunt the blades were as this cuts through butter by comparison. The positives are the battery, sharp blades, vacuum feature and the handy case.Negatives are that it doesnt pick up as many trimmings as before (but still 90%) and that the head is bulkier, so harder to trim between mouth and nose.Overall I'm pleased and wished I'd upgraded sooner. Price was great (hence why Amazon pays a tiny amount of UK tax).

Hair thinning combs are cheaper, work better on longer hair. Probably better for pre-shower routine
Don't expect it to work on long hair beards. Also, it only catches MOST hair. Back to the cheap hair thinning comb then use this every few days/once a week...so exactly what I did pre-beard. Defeating the point of having a beard in the first place. At least battery technology is better, now

Quality Trimmer. Hoover takes in 100% hair. Battery great.
After years of using and replacing the same Philips original vacuum beard trimmer I was absolutely gutted to find that not only have Philips discontinued their vacuum trimmers but virtually nobody else makes them anymore either! You cannot get one from Argos or a large Boots. This Remmington was literally the only decent quality-looking one on Amazon out of hardly any others. After the revelation of not having to clean up beard mess from the sink or floor I cannot fathom how or why other manufacturers have dropped all vacuum models!

Absolutely Useless
This must be the worst shaver that I have ever owned. It takes ages to trim your beard and keeps missing bits that you have to go over and over again.I chose Remington because I have the hair cutter which I can't fault at all but this is just rubbish and a waste of money. I have the Philips One Blade for delicate areas which does a much better job than this but it is not designed for large areas. The vacuum design on it is quite good but I think this gimmick takes the power from providing a good cut as it just didn't seem to cut very well and kept dragging the beard which was a little painful, (And yes, the battery was fully charged)I got this on offer, £34.99 from £79.99 but as a result of the very poor performance I just can't recommend this at all. I can't return it unfortunately due to the returns policy, therefore it is completely useless and I will not be using it again. I was going to try it on my cats for trimming their long coats in spring but I can't see them putting up with the pain it would cause them.Very disappointed with Remmington.

Saves the need of cleaning up after a shave
Works really well and easily collects at least 95% of hair thats shaved. Would of given it 5 stars but trimming the hair above my top lip is awkward to the point that you have to take the length guard off to finish my shave due to the fact it’s too bulky with the length guard attachedDoesn’t create too much of a problem as long as you have a steady hand when shaving under your nose/above top lip

Great experience from order to delivery. Highly recommended!
[INSUFFICIENT DETAILS] General safety considerations: Avoid use on infants, keep away from water sources, and ensure proper handling of a battery-powered device.

There is only one comb or clip that is supplied and this is adjusted by pressing a button on the comb itself to your desired hair length and setting.\n\nThe only problem with this product is that the actual suction power is in my opinion not strong enough so only around 60% of your cut hairs would go into the actual vacuum chamber whilst the remaining 40% of your cut hairs would just fall on the floor and have to be swept up later, which can be quite annoying. I hope this helps.\n\nKind regards,\n\nSam"}},{"@type":"Question","name":"Is it a three pin UK charger","acceptedAnswer":{"@type":"Answer","text":"Yes. it can only be recharged from a standard UK 3pin socket.
