Exmarid Deep Cleansing Shampoo 250ml Bottle. For Dogs prone to dry scaly and itchy skin.

Name it - I've tried it - all the brands, types, alternative stuff, homeopathy stuff, natural, home made, expensive stuff etc but I ALWAYS come back to this one when the dog gets so bad and red with welts from allergies in the summer that your heart breaks for them - I bathe her in this and immediate calm. redness slowly fades, less itchy, she gets some sleep, I use this and an entirely vegetable and fish based diet and her allergies disappear completely.Please note:If your dog is itchy and red - yes it can be allergies. but if there is also browning of the fur between toes, in groin etc then this is a YEAST infection - not just an allergy - often misdiagnosed. Dairy, meats and processed foods with sugar in will prolong the yeast infection. Switch to entirely plant based with tuna, sardines for a minimum of one week and bathe in this shampoo every two / three days and it will start to remove the systemic yeast infection

Admittedly it's not got the best smell (smells like a bonfire) but it's worth it as it's by far the best I've used for stopping my dog from itching. Highly recommended!!

Did try others which did not do the job. Great product gets used every time dog needs a wash, dog no longer scratches.

This product smells great and the scent lingers on your dogs coat for ages. It is excellent for dogs with dry skin and have used it for years, a really effective product. That works!! Highly recommended!

We've used this product in the past and it's retained being really good. Our pet has dry sensitive skin and this shampoo is excellent for keeping his coat in good condition. Highly recommended. Smells like coal tar soap from the old days.

I like the coltar scent, it leaves his fur nice and soft and it helps relieve his itching because of his alleegies.

I have used the EXMARID deep cleansing dog shampoo for several years…… and would highly recommend the product for long haired dogs. Unfortunately the original 250ml bottle was restyled a couple of years ago - and whoever designed it cannot have actually used it - the viscosity of the product means that it cannot easily squeezed through the hole in the narrow container - couple that with the fact that the container is pretty hard plastic so a lot of pressure has to be exerted. When I realised it came in a 750ml size bottle it was a relief - and back the the original design ! - unfortunately when it arrived it was 3x250ml. The product is excellent - getting it out of the bottle is a nightmare !

This product certainly produces results. The smell is rather like barbecued dog afterwards, though not actually an unpleasant smell. It helped my greyhound’s coat get back to its smooth and flake-free best.I’d recommend this to other dog owners.
