3-4 degree temp reduction on 7950x for $11!
I had (foolishly!) moved my AMD 7950X/RTX 4080 build from an incredibly high air flow Fractal Torrent, to the prettier, but far less air flow NZXY H9 Elite a few months ago. My CPU temps went up nearly 10 degrees, despite going from a Noctua air cooler in the Fractal, to NZXT's top of the line all-in-one water cooler.The plate was super easy to install. Remove the standard lever lock on your motherboard (mine is the Aus X670E ProArt) and pop the new, flush, easily tightened Termalright in place. You now have a nice, flatter, likely better distributed surface to apply thermal grease to. Cleans easily as well. I did change my grease from Thermaltake to Arctic MX-6 when i swapped this product in.Average temps went from 59-61 C (with 14 fans!) to about 55-57. No other changes. It is warm upstairs in my home in the summer, so these will drop in winter. I also run the performance energy profile in Windows.AMD 16 core CPUs run hot by their very nature. When rendering temps hits 90 instantly, and stay there.

Parece sencillo pero mantiene el procesador limpio y un buen control de temperatura, vivo en Colombia concretamente en la costa Colombia dónde estamos a 40°c y el procesador mantiene muy buena temperatura en reposo unos 39 °c me gustó el producto 👌

Super easy to install
I built a new AM5 PC for Starfield, and saw that a lot of people are using these. Since it’s a new build, I’m not sure HOW much cooler my temps are, but with PBO on and using air cooling, temps stay below 70C. I was worried this would be hard to install but, it was no problem, and I know my CPU cooler mount is perfectly flush.

It looks good before I put on the cooler. Idk if it does anything besides keep thermal paste away from the PCB. Less mess for cleaning old paste. Easy to install and comes with the torx head you need and thermal paste of unknown brand. Used it on a x670e tomahawk.

Good fit, compatible with noctua offset bars
I'm not really expecting this to be the perfect guard for thermal paste, or liquid metal (in fact you shouldn't use it with liquid metal since it is made of aluminum) because it still have small gaps around the CPU's IHS. I'm also not expecting this to really improve the the thermal.That said, I'm pretty happy with the purchase: the build quality is good, it's compatible with the Noctua offset bars, and I can now feel more comfortable wiping the old thermal paste off without worrying about getting too messy.
