A truly wonderful documentary with scenes of breathtaking beauty, in crystal-clear image quality. The rough seas and huge breakers of North Atlantic, the amazing colors of Caribbean coral reefs, the epic wildlife spectacle of South Georgia and the Falklands, the stunning hunting behavior of killer wales, plus some never before filmed footage of the ocean's abyss, make this one of the most interesting series that I have ever watched - and I have seen a lot! I am truly amazed by the negative review about narration. So unfair! The narrator's voice is warm and evocative and the descriptions are perfectly adequate and detailed. Yet another of BBC natural history gems!

This documentary on the Atlantic Ocean, consisting of three episodes, is truly spectacular. The photography is excellent revealing all the beauty of underwater sea life. The storyline is highly educational where we learn of the behavior of living organisms, how they hunt for food, protect themselves from predators, reproduce and care for their young. The photographers must have been very patient at times to get film some sequences. The colour of life under the sea is truly beautiful. I just love intelligent entertainment! Thank you.

Excellent cinematography, and measured, fluent commentary by Cillian Murphy.There are creatures and climatic events never before filmed.

I love the Atlantic for so I might be a little biased but these documentaries are very interesting, even thou we already know many things about this incredible piece of water that divedes Europe and Africa from Americas, the price defintely worth it. Plus they always explain you how did they do it with the "Atlantic diaries", extra filming at the end of every chapter.

Great pictures of the underwater depths of the ocean. It is worth watching this movie. Well, and wonderful narrator Cillian Murphy. What a deep, magnificent voice and perfect diction.
