Heartbeat – Always evokes those heady 60’s days when everything was so much simpler and safer.

Being a late viewer of this series since I have lived in Asia since 1985 and having viewed a few episodes here and there I am now the owner of the first 16 episodes with the last two on the way.Its amazing how this series can continue forever without being boring and the quality of the actors are great.This is surely one of the greatest long running English TV shows ever and I do own most of them anywayThe changeover of actors are normally a bit too dramatic but its a good way to do it

If you have watched a couple of heartbeats and enjoyed them I recommend every single disc.I have them all.If you watch one a night you have over a years entertainment

Human stories from a time gone by that entertains today. Excellent series with engaging characters, you laugh and cry with them. Most enjoyable.

we watch when working very hard and good for relaxation and also interesting romance and comedy

The later Heartbeat series have come up with plot lines that are more involved and interesting. This series was no exception and they are adept at blending new characters with the established ones, I do find "Peggy" annoying but I guess that's what she's supposed to do.
