So, I purchased this a while ago. When I read reviews prior to purchasing. Some stated that the foundation was hard to get out and so, they had to throw it out. The first purchased for me and due to those comments. I thought that was happening to me. I couldn't get the foundation to rise up from the sponge. Omg, the bottom of the container twists. You just have to twist the bottom and there you go. It's good foundation. Applies well. Lasts all day and the coverage is great. I would recommend.

Update: The seller contacted me, and they refunded the amount. They said I'd got the damaged/defective product somehow. Thank you! The amount is not understandable, twisting twisting and there is nothing, only small amount comes up and there is the sponge absorbing all of it. Contacted the seller, no reply. I took the sponge off, and twisted again, nothing comes. Made it upside down, still nothing. I only gave 2 stars because the color is what I wanted, true to color, and stays perfectly on the skin. I wish they fix the amount.

There are a lot of reviews here about how the pump on this doesn’t work, but I was hoping I’d get a good one. Nope. My pump doesn’t work, either. Not even a bit. It was a cool idea, but with that high of a failure rate, they should pull it from the market! I was able to get a little bit out by flicking the bottle like ketchup. The makeup itself is okay, but I ordered Ivory, and it’s really a bit too dark for me. If the pump had worked, I probably would have used the makeup (sparingly, and maybe waiting until summer), but I wouldn’t have bought it again. As it is, with the defective pump, I’m sending this back.

I love Revlon makeup, and I loved the shade of this makeup; however, the sponge is difficult to use. I ended up popping it open and using a makeup brush. The color is on point; it definitely gave a natural look.

This is really convenient but using the sponge instead of a brush is a little different.

This foundation was a bit lighter than it appeared online - it looks slightly chalky in areas on my skin. Btw, I have a medium-brown complexion (think Meagan Goode's normal adult complexion). But in other areas the color goes on fine; it's just too light. The cap is tricky - you twist to bring up the product and too much comes out. I was uncomfortable using the cushion on my face for this reason. I would have looked too made up, especially because this product is a matte-type. Just be careful with the color-typing.

Unfortunately, last order I received, I couldn’t get the liquid to come to the surface. This happens now and then. Too much trouble to return. Good news is that it’s a great product for coverage. I have an autoimmune disorder and really thin skin, so my arms always have spots of bleeding beneath the skin. This stuff works great to hide them. I think it would cover just about anything to some degree. Wish I could find this in retail stores. I’ve been using it for years.
