I love this...
Excellent product. Taking it with me tonight to my ukulele beginners group to which I’m already addicted! Because I like to stand, not sit, I find I easily lose my place in the music when looking at my finger placement doing the chords. This great tripod brings the music closer to my eyes which helps me successfully go from ukulele to music etc.Don’t know why people keep saying it’s hard to assemble - it was done in minutes – and just as easy to take apart to put in my bag. Very happy with my purchase. Now back to “Streets of London” 🎶

Proper sturdy piece of kit!
I bought this to use at our weekly ukulele band meet up. I'd had my eye on it for some time, but it was so expensive, I just didn't feel I could justify the price. But I managed to get one on a warehouse deal with damaged box and saved myself £15! And the contents were perfect! The stand is excellent quality, typical K&M quality I guess. They don't make things lightly! And you do get what you pay for! We use it for songbooks which isn't really it's purpose - it's more designed to take a laptop and the stand is so strong you can literally adjust the desk to any angle you want and it isn't going to budge! So using it with songbooks, it's a shame it doesn't have any little clips to hold the pages back, but then, that's not what it was really built to do, so I can't really complain.Do read the instructions when you assemble it! Hubby didn't and moaned it was wobbly and tippy - that's because he'd left the centre stalk too long! If he'd read the instructions (which he never does!) he'd have known to level the central stalk with the surface it was stood on! When all is level, it isn't wobbly at all. Because of that central stalk, you are limited as to how low you can make the stand, but we find it perfect as it is. Also, make sure you fully lock the legs into position! You might think you have, but if there's a gap at the hinge, you haven't! They take a bit of a shove, but as I said earlier, this is a solid piece of kit that is NOT going to collapse if you build it properly!I'm only knocking a star off because it IS expensive, but that said, it will last you a lifetime. But then, as the saying goes, buy cheap, buy twice. Not with this. Buy once and it'll still be standing when the Rock of Gibraltar has crumbled!Excellent piece of kit and totally recommend.

Was disappointed with the quality although at first glance it seemed very good, but the stand is slightly lopsided and one of the metal edges is very sharp. Also it doesn't fold up very well. Could be better designed. I was tempted to return it because it was, after all, quite expensive but I felt it would too expensive to send it back.

Comodo e massiccio
