I decided to take better care of my houseplants and checking the moisture level seemed like a good start. This was the least expensive item in that category. It is wonderful. A bright addition to my indoor garden. Yes, it does the job well. And it arrived very nicely packaged. Attractive protective box, excellent instructions, warning label to prevent damage in use. I felt like I had received a GIFT. My plants and I are very happy.

OMG this simple non-battery item is a godsend. I’m a plant person. I have a lot of plants in my home. I try to water everybody on the same day and I do however from going away forgetting the day however, it was a few of them almost died so I thought one day! Why not purchase a thermometer of course I picked the simplest non-battery one came the very next day. It’s unbelievable. All my plants tell their own story. This is the most vital Piece of equipment if your true plant lover! which I am, please don’t change the recipe. It’s perfect the way it is you don’t need expense. You don’t need batteries. You don’t need charging. This shows you exactly with the plants trying to tell you I hope for many years with this and no more dried out plants right before my eyes. This is an investment non-investment because it’s so inexpensive. This is a 10.!!!

The meter is hard to when checking my plants that are low on the floor. I wish I had bought the one where the face of it was tipped up

Put it in a completely dry plant bed and it immediately shot up to "dont water". Huh, thats weird. Let it sit for about an hour and stayed that way. I bought multiple different moisture meters, so I compared it with another one which showed "dry" while thos one suggested there was too much water (in the dry plant bed).Added water, this one stayed the same. Comparing to the other one which now showed slightly in the "wet" range. Next day, this one still showed "dont water" while the other sat in the middle "moist" range.So basically, it didnt work.

Lifesaver for watering plants. Easy to use and lets you know exactly when to water any plants. We use on small pot and big palm potted plants. Have zero green thumb so always struggled to figure out when to water. This makes it very simple to know.

Plant water meter is working well.

I’m not quite sure it works well enough. I checked some of my plants and it seemed to be accurate enough. This wasn’t consistent as it was way off for some of my other plants. It tells me some plants need to be watered, very dry. I water them, basically drown them because I don’t water often. I wipe the device clean and check again, it tells me that the plant could use some water (basically mid point) which makes absolutely no sense. This is after I checked at different points of the pot - by the roots and near the edge. I might be doing it wrong, but I’m not sure how exactly one can mess that up
