Your new stainless chimney liner kit will include: Premium .013 thick Stainless Steel Smooth Wall Flexible Chimney Liner (316) with superior flexibility & increased BTU capacity. Its smooth interior design allows for more airflow, adding back the 20% drag factor that's lost in traditional corrugated liners. Since it's made of 7-ply 316 stainless steel & 2 inner linings (.013 total thickness), it's great for any application. Note: The size given is the inside diameter. Add 1/4" for the outside diameter of the liner. Tee connectors require an additional 1/2" of clearance. NOTE: When installing Smooth Wall Liner, install with RED ARROW pointing UP. A 13" x 13" Top Plate with a Quick Connect Collar is included to secure the chimney liner from the top of the chimney. The Quick Connect Flue Cap will keep animals & debris out of the chimney. Fasten down the quick connect clamp to the collar of the Top Plate & you're done! The Tee Connector with 10" long removable snout is used for connecting horizontally to a stove or other appliance or through a chimney thimble. It is strongly advised that you do insulate your chimney liner to help increase draft & reduce the amount of creosote buildup. It's important to check the inside of your flue to make sure you have enough room to accommodate for the insulation. This insulation blanket kit adds 1.5" to the overall diameter of the flexible chimney liner. The insulation kit includes 1/2" x 24" 3mil Foil Face Insulation Wrap-AES (Alkaline Earth Silicate) Insulation Blanket, Steel Retractable Mesh, Insulation Spray Adhesive, Roll of HVAC Foil Tape, and 2 clamps to hold mesh in place.
