Topping DSD Portable Amplifier Headphone Earphone, HiFi Digital Stereo Audio AMP (NX1s Silver)

Honestly I stumbled across this type of amplification on YouTube because I needed my headphones to be louder when I played drums, and thought I had to alter my cellphone. This amp did the trick. I also use it in my car for to get more gain from once again my cellphone output. It also has great battery life as well.

Likes:Build quality, long lasting battery, comes with velcro, rubberband to attach to phone. Volume control works as it should with minimal hiss. Provides a nice boost.Cons:Output cable to smart phone is a little noisy

I use this amp to push a pair of KZ ES3 and TRN V80 and it does a wonderful job getting both pair at the level I want! Clean noise floor and excellent boost and when I want it the bass boost is a nice clean curve that doesn't muddy up anything.The only problem I had is the 3/8ths jumper wire, that connects it to your phone, was shorting out so I made a newer better jumpe

I get a good deal of static noise when using the wire that comes with the product. I get less static using a 3rd party aux cable with this product but I still get occasional static interference upon every use. The bass and gain features are nice but I feel audio quality does get layered with these settings on. Not a bad product for the money but definitely not a top quality amp in my opinion

Works perfectly... Nice and loud boost to my phone's output... I use it with a Bluetooth dongle... Now I can hear those soft spoken podcasts through my vehicles audio. . It brings all my audio back to life

I bought this specifically to boost the power from my iPod (Gen 6) to my Sony noise-canceling headphones since it just doesn't have enough "oomph" to overcome the loudness from jet noise, even at full volume. (...and yes, the headphones are on, silly!) The amp does a nice job of boosting the signal and the bass boost isn't "boomy."The amp comes with all kinds of means of adhering/attaching it so it doesn't move, slide, or fall: elastic bands, non-skid tabs, and a no-motion pad.Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase.

I thought I was buying an amplifier, not a muting device. This DECREASED sound output in every device I tried. So disappointing... I need something that will increase the sound so that I can use headphones without my hearing aids

This is one durable headphone amp, I've dropped it, it laid in the snow 3 days when my daughter took it outside, and the battery life is excellent.
