Great replacement for 1978 Peugeot bike **Q: Which shoes are best to wear with these pedals?** A: Pretty much any stiff soled shoes. I put old school MKS toe clips on the pedals. The sealed bearing model of this same pedal is much better. **Q: weight?** A: Not sure of actual weight however I ride about 250 a week on an older Trek and went thru several makes before I got these and now I have them on all three of my road bikes. One Trek, a Cannondale and a Fugi. Great pedal which was helped by the price. **Q: Which toe clips are recommended?** A: Since I commute in the city, I do not ride with toe clips.
