Not Really A Right Angle
There is nothing wrong with the product per se but the "right angle" actually has an extended point to it. This means that the sail shape does not have straight edges but is actually a concave triangle once fitted and stretched. As I was trying to fit this in an internal corner of our patio, to protect the open bi-fold doors from any light rain, it leaves huge gaps between the walls and the inwardly curved edges of the sail, which renders it useless for my purpose. The chances are that I'm the only person that is ever going to use one in this way but you never know. Carry on.

Weather resistant
We’ve had ours up for a few months now, even with the bad weather it hasn’t broken nor faded with sun damage. Still looks brand new.

Exactly what I needed to fit the space, perfect addition to the garden for these colder winter evenings, to allow the BBQs to continue!

Product size is actually far smaller then expected and advertised
Actual coverage area of the sail Product is far smaller then advertised and far small the others of same size. The actual sheet area when opened out is barley 7ft .the photo shows the width of the sail when sheet is folded in half . Material also feels very flimsy similar to a waterproof mattress cover Not as hoped for so sent back

Great shade for pets
I have used this over the past 2 months of summer/autumn as a shade for our pet rabbits. Being 3.6m x 3.6m it offers our rabbits a great area of shade, which they have whole heartedly enjoyed on the sunnier days. It has done well in windier conditions, and has shown some durability. My only concern is with the waterproofing, I'm not sure how exactly waterproof this is, as I have noticed some water on the underside of the material. Whether this is just condensation or it has been struggling under the heavier rainfall I cannot be certain.

Well-Made, Dips in Centre despite Tension, Difficult to Clean off Dirty Marks
I chose, at least as an initial experiment, to use this RICHIE Sun Shade Sail 3.6mx3.6m Square to shield most of the triple wall polycarbonate roofing of our conservatory from the sun, to try to reduce temperature build-up on hot sunny days. The outside of the polycarbonate is supposed to have a UV reflective coating & there are 2 solar fans in the roof, together with a vent over the French doors to outside & in hot weather we generally have the French doors & 3 windows, about 5 ft tall open, plus slatted wooden window blinds on all windows, angled to obscure direct rays of the sun into the conservatory, but it still gets uncomfortably hot. My idea was to arrange the sun shade sail above the conservatory roof, with clear space for air to flow upwards above the conservatory roof, under the sun shade sail & vent between the top of the sail & the house wall, thus cooling the conservatory (I hoped). When I put the sun shad sail up over the conservatory roof, it picked up some dust which dirtied it. My initial ‘flying’ of the sail above the conservatory was simply jury-rigged to experiment to determine effectiveness & best positioning, before making permanent points to secure the sail see my photos. I felt that the shaded area of the conservatory was noticeably cooler; my wife disagreed. The day of the experiment was on a day which was cooler anyway, after a period of late summer ’23 heat. Subsequent days were cooler yet, so I have now taken the sail down to resume the experiment new summer.I tried washing off the dusty marks on the beige sun shade sail with water, as directed. Unfortunately, it was not possible to erase the last traces of the dirt that the sail had picked up.I was well-pleased with the quality of material & construction of the RICHIE Sun Shade Sail, & the shadow it casts is what I was seeking. Though I am disappointed with the difficulty in cleaning this beige sail, I don’t think the experience would have been a great deal different with a grey sail, which may have reflected less light away & been of less attractive appearance. My score of 4 stars is what I fell this RICHIE Sun Shade Sail deserves overall.

cheap alternative to gazebos
This is a cheap alternative to a full on gazebo - especially useful in the UK where the weather can turn from one hour to the next. You don't have to worry about wind or rain blowing down a full structure or bending metal poles, just attach to any three points and you're away, at a fraction of the cost
