Great purchase
Overall great purchase and saved me a lot of money. I purchased a preowned J5+ (my J9 is in storage) because I wasn’t looking to spend too much money and I’ve yet to experience issues with my other bots so I figured I’d go with a lower model. With it being preowned, I fully expected nothing was going to come in the box, it would be damaged, or simply not work but I was completely wrong. It worked like a charm, easy to set up, came with all the accessories, instructions, and was nearly brand new outside of a few scratches. Noise level is great, maybe a little louder than the J9+, but definitely tolerable. My roommate says it’s slight louder than her shark vac but super convenient that it has a mopping feature so she can excuse the noise. The suction was great, mapping for the price point is amazing, and the J5+ comes with cord detection which was a must have with all the cords I have lying around; I don’t need to move anything when it can maneuver around the obstacle or cord. Battery life is good so far so I have nothing but positive things to say about a preowned purchase.

It's just NOT what you expect...
I was really excited to get a Roomba for my new apartment and it is something I've wanted to purchase for some time now.I decided to spend a bit extra to get a nicer model with a few key functions like the ability to control it from an application and schedule by room. I've used this feature a few times and it's amazing - being able to just clean my kitchen while I'm lounging in the living room, or clean my bedroom while I'm making dinner - It's awesome!However... This Roomba is just not what I expected, especially for the price, wow.First of all, this thing runs in random circles around my spaces - it swears that it follows some planned path but it runs into everything most of the time and hasn't learned very much apparently.Second, and my biggest complaint, is that it gets stuck, on EVERYTHING. Rugs, Chairs, Barstools... the list goes on. Not only that, but it will make an aggressive effort to climb over or on something that it shouldn't and gets itself stuck then weakly spins it wheels before complaining that it needs help.I'm frustrated and disappointed that even though I just arrived at work, I have already received a notification that its somehow stuck. I have walked around with this thing 5+ times to see where the problem areas are and I just can't win.I've had to block off multiple sections of my place because it gets stuck on the tiniest of chair legs, and even sends a cliff alert only to be found resting on the edge of a rug????????? That's ridiculous. For nearly $600, I wish I had purchased a Dyson hand held that would do a quick and thorough job. - like wow the regret is real with this one. This thing spends more time getting errors and "stuck" messages than it does actually cleaning my apartment. It also leaves bits of debris everywhere - including bits of paper and such that you think it wouldn't have any issue at all picking up.Really disappointed... We have a really long way to go with these robot vacuums, they're just not very good yet.Ps. The "Rate Features" function is useless. Sure, it has good battery life and works with Alexa, but it can barely do a full run of my apartment without errors and getting stuck or missing sections.Update:I have never had such a frustrating and disappointing experience from a piece of technology this expensive. These are so unbelievably unintelligent it boggles my mind how they’re advertised. If you enjoy spending the amount of time it would take to vacuum your place cleaning up every little thing on the groundI have never regretted buying something more than this. I would have been better of spending the money on a hand held Dyson and spend 20m vacuuming vs the 1h 30m this thing takes running into walls, getting stuck on the smallest things and going back over things 4-5xThere are many things that have benefited from automation, and vacuuming is NOT one of them.

Impressive Cleaning Power and Reliable Performance Worth Every Penny!
The media could not be loaded. I purchased the iRobot Roomba i5 during a discount deal, and I absolutely don’t regret it. After using it for about a year, I can confidently say it’s one of the best small home investments I’ve made. The vacuum quality is excellent it picks up dust, debris, and especially pet hair with no problem, even in corners and under furniture. I have two dogs, and thanks to this vacuum, there’s not a single hair left anywhere. It’s been a total game-changer for keeping the apartment clean.I don’t use the mopping function much; I mainly rely on it for vacuuming, and the results speak for themselves. You can clearly see and feel the difference between a cleaned floor and a dirty one.In terms of durability, it’s held up great after a year of use. No issues with the wheels, brushes, or sensors. It covers my one-bedroom apartment thoroughly, typically running for around 45 minutes, sometimes a bit longer if there are obstacles that confuse it during its mapping process. The functionality is solid. It maps the apartment effectively and adapts over time. The app is very simple and intuitive, giving you all the basic information and control you need without being overly complicated.Noise level is reasonable not silent, but quiet enough to run while your home without being annoying. The sensitivity of the sensors is generally good, though sometimes it struggles with new obstacles or small cords, but nothing major.Overall, if you're looking for a reliable, efficient, and easy-to-use vacuum especially if you have pets the Roomba i5 is highly recommended. Great performance, solid build, and very convenient for small apartments or homes.
