If you are good at altering things I would think so. I am not really sure which tube you are referring to .The metal sprayer tube does come out, so you could shorten it, but it isn't that long, so not sure you would need to. However, the black hose tube connecting the sprayer to the container may not be so easy to alter. There is also a tube inside the container, so if you shorten it, it would not render the product inside fully.

Is the battery easy to charge?

Yes very easy. USB C is the female plug in the unit and it comes with the regular usb cable so you can plug it into any usb charger or your computer port.
