Mountain House: Studies in Elevated Design Hardcover – November 21, 2023

I actually live part time in a Vermont mountain cabin, and I think this book is good inspiration. It’s packed with ideas and vibes for different kinds of mountain decor, structures, and landscaping. True, as some have noted, the photos are a bit dark, they were printed a bit dark, but it doesn’t detract. For the low price, this is a very good book on its topic.

Got this as a coffee table book. The images are beautiful. We love picking it up and looking through the pictures.

This is a really nice book with a diverse array of homes. Most of them are rustic and a good number of them are fairly modern. (But not all of them.) The pages are a matte finish, not glossy at all, which will appeal to some people and not others.

Stunning coffee table book. A new favorite. And would be a great gift.

I purchased this book new as a coffee table display. It arrived with bent and damaged corners. If I had wanted that look I would have bought a used copy.

The pictures are spectacular and clearly the adventure the author had creating this book was just out of this world. I'm gifting it to my friends who have their own Mountain Houses, so much inspiration in this book.
