Very Imaginative and Fun Role Play Game!
Have only just got the opportunity to play this due to lockdown but boy was it worth the wait! I'm sure its great for couples but for me it was me and my friend and we loved it!You can play as either gender for our first game my friend played as a sweet wedding planner, Claire and I played as the rough criminal Dimitri, we both had a lot of fun being the characters. It may seem like a lot when you first open the box but we watched a gameplay video on youtube and honestly it came a lot easier than expected. When we looked back we'd got a couple rules wrong but we learnt from it and did it fine for our next game and it didnt effect our enjoyment at all. This is genuinely one of the few games I can say it's not about the winning so much as the journey, we had so much fun with the different "scenes" and we focused more on playing than necessarily winning which is a rarity for me.It's a beautiful looking game and the only thing I'd say is it's probably not suited for people that don't like games that require imagination and role play. Also maybe not for beginners unless your playing with somone who's played before, but to anyone else I reccomend! Already ordered the first expansion myself!

Fun experience for couples
This isn't like most other boardgames in that there isn't a 'winner'. There's some slight tactical depth to it, but mostly you are playing as an experience. It's kind of like building two characters in The Sims and seeing how they get on.A good game for partners, you each work together to create your personas and then respond to various scenarios. When responding, you are basing your reply on which stats would either benefit your character or help out the other player. The tactical depth comes in trying to work out what type of character they have and whether you should adapt your responses to make them happy or keep yourself happy - in the best scenario, both would be happy by the same responses. It's like a real relationship! There's only a handful of set-ups included, but you're unlikely to see everything or have positive outcomes with just one playthrough each.I recommend to couples who want to try something different.

Complex but enjoyable
This is a very high quality production for 2 players. It’s a slow burn with lots to learn for new players if you are new to board games or monopoly is as complex as you’ve gone, I’d be prepared to spend a good hour setting it up and learning during the first scenario. It comes in a relatively large and heavy box which adds to its production value but makes it hard to take on trips.Lastly it seems to focus very much on the idea that it is about two people going through a romance but I do find much of the game boils down to picking what gets you to your treat cards. It’s got a couple of different ways to play however but it is very much down to interpretation.

Fog of Rules and Exceptions.
This so called game is actually a pretentious load of twaddle. The complexity of the rules and exceptions make it a chore to 'play' and mastering them doesn't make it feel any less pointless. There is no narrative structure to the game given most of its elements are entirely random. To describe it as a romcom is like describing a visit to the dentist for a root canal as a fun day out. Trying to achieve such goals as there are is next to impossible (maybe realistic in a relationship) but seriously lacking in entertainment value. The role play elements are stifled by the difficulty of fathoming and following the game play. It seemed to me that the rules were poorly explained and at times seemed contradictory. There also appear to be some fundamental design flaws (apart from it being as dull as a blurred black and white photo of muddy ditch water). It is just not enjoyable enough to go through the ordeal of trying to learn to play. We gave it several tries playing different scenarios hoping it would improve with familiarity. Actually it just confirmed the fact that it is simply not at all fun. Personally I'd rather assemble a piece of flat packed furniture than play this again.

Really good game! Love to play over and over again on a rainy day.
Really good game! Me and my boyfriend love playing it together and it came a week earlier than anticipated! The peices and cards are very high quality and it comes with three extension packs that are all a lot of fun to play.We even enjoyed playing the tutorial, because you can just start playing the game immediately and it explains parts and rules as you play.I highly recommend! It’s worth the price 👍🏻

Fun once or twice
I really enjoy this game but my partner hated it so I didn't get a chance to finish it properly. Will update if we ever finish all the scenarios.

A glass of wine, some nibbles and...Fog of love
A funny and interesting Role Playing Games for couples who want to have some good time over the weekend. A lot of scenes, chapters and various possible traits or occupation of your character means that it will be a long until you get bored of this game. I definitely enjoy it so far.

Rare Problem
Hello!Fog of Love is an amazing board game and a must by if you're into two player board games about roleplay, story, romance or comedy. There's also a lot of strategy involved too if you want there to be.My problem is with the box itself. The one I received was torn at one of the corners, possibly due to the heavy components. It does not effect gameplay at all and the box still works 100% but excessive playing of the board game could weaken the broken box much faster than if it were a tougher one - even if you're careful opening it, it feels like it will tear more if you're not holding it like a baby.I could probably exchange it for a better box but I don't want to waste anyone's time. I am giving this a four stars so you can see that not all copies of Fog of Love are 100% intact.
