If you read the manual and do some experimenting, this is a brilliant machine
I spent months waiting for the Breville Air to go on sale. Then I saw this oven. I spent two days weighing the pros and cons of this oven versus the Breville. I decided that I would probably never use the dehydration setting in the Breville, but WOULD use the rotisserie in the ConvectionWorks. The fact that it came with the bamboo cutting board and the silicone hot pads was also a factor. My plan is to retire to a tiny house (<350 sq ft) in the woods within the next few years. Paring down and making every sq inch of EVERYTHING count is going to be important. When it comes to the kitchen, that means multi-function appliances that are small but efficient, but big enough to make more than a single serving of anything. So this was an important choice I was making. I have absolutely no regrets.First the cons: The convection fan IS noisy, but I hardly ever use it. If you are truly in need of the convection function, there are Air Fryer Ovens available that would probably do a better job, more quietly. The glass door gets pretty damned hot, along with the handle. But then so does any piece of cast iron cookware, and a good cook learns that pretty quickly. I keep the silicone pads that they thoughtfully supplied close by at all times, so I have only burnt myself once. I am a quick learner. The controls can be a bit tricky to use, at first, but again, once you get used to them, they become instinctive and logical. The ringer (dinger?) could be a lot louder and a bit more persistent. I can't hear it from the next room. The manual is good, not great and does seem to overlook some stuff, but with a little patience, all can be figured out.The Pros: This makes the most consistently perfect toast I have ever had. Every piece is the same color and takes the same time. I live alone, so I have no need to make 9 slices at once, but it's nice to know I could. The rotisserie works very well. Like some other reviewers here, the first thing I made was a pork loin. I didn't use any preset (and probably never will, unless some experiment proves to me that the oven knows how to cook better than I do,) I just set it to what 50 years or so of cooking told me would work and walked away. It did the job just fine. I have cooked lasagna and meatloaf in it, baked cookies from store-bought dough, and made cheesecake more than once. Everything came out just fine without adjusting any times or temps. I just treated it like a normal full size oven. Yes, there is no pre-heat on any of the settings, but that is easily accomplished by setting the temp you want and not loading the oven for 5 to 10 minutes. If your recipe calls for a pre-heated oven at 350 and a total cook time of 30 minutes, then set the temp for 350, set the timer for 5 minutes or so, and when it goes off, it's pre-heated. Now set it for 30 minutes, put your food in. This is not that tricky. Just treat it as you would a normal oven.I agree with other reviewers who have said that cleaning it is the worst thing about it. (But then, cleaning is the worst thing about anything...) The company is pretty insistent that you do so without using oven cleaner, etc. So I have gotten in the habit of cleaning the oven as soon as it is cool enough to do so. So far nothing has stuck enough to be a problem. Most of what I cook is in a covered vessel anyway, so the oven doesn't get all that grimy all that quickly. (except rotisserie...)I have used this almost every night since it was delivered. I have had almost entirely great experiences with it. And when it under-performed or overcooked, I learned from the experience. This oven will certainly take its place alongside my Instant Pot in my tiny house. I HIGHLY recommend it.

Highly recommend
This oven is AWESOME! I was a little nervous at first, but the set came with an easy user quick guide that helped me step by step on how to use each of the 10 preset features.I first used it by simply making some toast for my morning eggs, and the toast was crispy golden. I then turned it up a notch that evening and decided to broil a T-Bone for dinner. I took it out of the freezer and used the defrost option on the oven (This was great for me because I hate putting any meat in the microwave and if I don’t take out the meat 2 hours prior to cooking then I would have had to use the micro). After it defrosted evenly and perfectly, I switched over to Broil. The meat came out juicy and tender and am salivating just thinking about it!! It cooked both sides perfectly to a beautiful medium rare, exactly how I like my steak.I simply love this machine and a great bonus is the interior light. My last oven did not have one and there was nothing worse than opening an closing the oven every 2 minutes to see if it was ready. This machine is a godsend and perfect for all the things my wife and I like to cook. I have also made a large 10” pizza, and she has used it to bake cookies. This oven is multi talented and can do it all. Highly recommend this machine.

Oven with lots of features that won't blow the circuit breaker
I spent a good bit of time shoppen for an oven. I looked at all price ranges and even steam or pressurized ovens. I looked with ovens with wifi connectivity and even cameras. I read reviews for them all and there were negative reviews on all of the Ovens. So I looked for common failures in the reviews and ruled out several including ovens at twice the price. There are no ovens with perfect reviews. This oven had fewer bad reviews than most any other. The most common issue reported with this oven seems to be poor customer service (email address listed was wrong on) and units that arrived damaged and a small amount of failures. So before I purchased, I sent two emails to [email protected] to see if I would get a response. I also called twice and no answer. But I received a response to the first email within 12 hours and the second email was answered within 30 minutes. So they do appear to be responsive.I ordered the oven and it arrived in less than 16 hours! It arrived in a heavy box. Inside the box was the actual box the oven was packaged in. So it was well packages and there was no damage.I took it out of the box and everything was there. The first task was to take out the rotisserie. Now some of the reviews complained that its impossible. The first thing I had to do was to remove the tie wraps. Then I had to figure out that you just lift straight up on the left hand side. then you can with draw the right side. The other thing to know is you there is about a 1/4" space in left side of the rod you need to line up. I suggest the company print up an instruction sheet and send it out. But really once I figured that out then it wasn't an issue. They provide a tool to remove meats once cooked. I was very surprised to see that the tool actually removed the spit without any effort. The spit does flop around when cooking a meat on it. We cooked a 4lb ham and our puppy saw the motion and she barked at it intently. She's never seen a rotisserie before! The next thing people complained about in the reviews is the controls are hard to work. Look at the pictures I attached. They provided a sheet to explain the controls. It's very well done. The top knob selects the function shown on the LCD. When you select a function, a time and temperature is automatically selected. But you can make adjustments. The bottom knob is where the adjustments are done. When selecting toast or bagel, this selects the darkness level. When in all other modes, press the knob once to to adjust the time and press it again to adjust the temperature. The range you can adjust to is dependant on the mode selected. For Pizza you can select between 350-450 degrees F. For all other modes you can select between 150-450 degrees F. There is a very well written manual that has a nice chart that shows all the modes. You can also download the manual from this site or the company website.I've attached a photo showing how well lit the oven is. The light is plenty bright. It also can easily be changed by just reaching in and unscrewing it.One big issue with many of the ovens are they are 1800 watts. That requires a dedicated 20 amp circuit. Furthermore, a 20 amp circuit breaker will trip at 80% of its load which is 15-16 amps or 1800 watts. Even if the 1800 watt oven does not trip in the beginning, over time the circuit breaker may begin to trip at lower amperage. Furthermore, I am concerned about operating a circuit at it's upper limit as there will be more heating at wiring connections which could pose a fire danger. This oven avoids this situation by only pulling 1500 watts. I would not operate any other appliance on the circuit unless it was a small load like a can opener. But at least you safely could with a 15oo watt oven. To me this provides a good balance between performance and risk. There are four slots allowing four rack positions possible. The oven comes with two wire racks and a pan that also uses slots. The door has indicators showing three positions for baking, pizza, There is a removable crumb tray. You can read about all the functions. One of the complaints about the oven is that you can't adjust the time or temperature once you press start. This is true. To adjust time or temperature you have to hold the start button to cancel. The time and temperature is reset back to the default for the setting. Then you have to set it to what you want. It's not a deal breaker for me as I don't usually adjust but it may be for some. Another downside is the oven does not show the actual temperature. It does show the remaining times. There is no preheat function or chime to tell you that it reached the temperature. The oven does take about ten minutes to reach 450. But so far I have found that I can just set some extra time to allow for the preheat and put food in.I have not owned the oven long enough to comment comment on all aspects of how it heats or how evenly it heats. What I have seen so far has not been an issue. Everything had been good,The oven has a warm function but it only goes down to 150 degrees. If they had of made it go lower it could have been a dehydrator. If you don't care about that, then it's not an issue. The quality is good for the price range. It's not as heavy duty as a $400 oven but its not $400 and the reviews on the $400 ovens are not that great either. I replaced a 20+ year old high end oven that had most of the functions available. I doubt this oven will last 20 years but I paid as much for it 20 years ago as this one cost.I've heated this oven up to 450 degrees for 1 hour to see how hot the outside surfaces are. The sides were not hot to the touch I could keep my hand on them all day except for the top 1 inche. From there and the top, the oven gets extremely hot. The oven that this one replaced did to and would melt things. But this seems to be hotter. I have 4.5" above the oven to the cabinet. The contents inside the cabinet got a little warn but not hot. I believe if I keep it below the cabinet I will have to put a heat shield over the oven. The instructions also calls for 4" on each side. However, I do not think this is a big issue. The bottom of the oven does get warm but I did not see any heating of the countertop. I took an infrared picture of the oven heated up with my flir camera. I did not see excessive heat leakage around the door. I believe the that most any oven in this price range isn't going to perform any better.I could not hear the fan without opening the door when I first received it. But it's gotten louder since I've used it and this may become an issue. Pausing the oven and restarting seems to stop the noise. In summary the oven so far has cooked well, I don't find the controls difficult to operate and had them down within 5 minutes after looking at the enclosed sheet, it gets pretty hot on top you so you don't want to touch it, and I expect it to last as long as my previous oven, customer service so far has been responsive, and it will satisfy most people who are not professionals and expect a commercial grade oven which cost 3 or four times higher or more. Not impressed with the silicone pot handles. They are too slippery. The rack pull isn't that functional. As I use it more, I will update the review if there is new information. Posted October 2020.
