The MEIIOFS Core Aerator is the perfect solution for our problems, after removing tons of earth using a mini digger, the ground underneath was left pretty compacted from the heavy machinery. The grass has grown in this area, but it's a little patchy and isn't growing properly. Reading online it suggests core aeration and because it's not a huge patch I opted for this manual core aerator.It's simple and quick to assemble, it's solid and sturdy once built and works really well at creating channels in the ground for oxygen and water to flow through. Simple and easy to use and extracts the cores into the bucket for easy removal.Good quality product for the money.

This aerator is easy to assemble, with only a few parts. It's designed well with 3 sharp coring prongs which easily slide into the lawn and push up and out into the top container trough. It does need to be emptied often, but at least it stores the removed soil somewhere while you work.I've never used one of these before so I cannot compare to other types or brands, but I found this so simple to use and ended up getting into a rhythm of almost walking with the aerator under one shoe. I did need to be careful though as the prongs are sharp and I didn't want to be pushing them through my other shoe (especially not with my weight!).Do try to use this when the lawn is fairly dry though. I've used it when it's quite wet and the soil starts getting stuck inside the prongs. Luckily the handy stone removal tool (also supplied) can push these out.Great tool for those with small to medium lawns.

Very tough piece of kit and very easy to assemble with all tools included (took 5 mins). Well worth the money. Completed the aeration of my lawn in a day (April). Only had to clean the tines about ten times. Manual aeration is hard work although I imagine would be a far harder task with a lesser tool. Highly recommended!

It comes with the nice tool to empty out the soil from the aerator. It is simple to use, hopefully I should see its affect soon on my lawn getting better.

This is a good lawn aerator.It is quite robust.And it is a good size. You can get good leverage.But for me, it is far too expensive !!!!

We have a lawn treatment service contract to a company & looking at our lawn conditions they had advised us that aerating the lawn would be good, as aeration can help with relieving soil compaction and allowing grass to grow deeper roots. however, the quote they had provided was too high so we decided we would do it ourselves. We weren't really sure where to start or what to buy but this came up and we were really very excited. We have a small garden and plan to aerate it during late summer as that is the best time to aerate the garden.We will be adding compost to the holes, as this will help to break up soil and make it better for grass. We have also got some seeds for the soil, so that all patches can be covered.This tool is well made, and bolted together, so no welds to break like some I saw. The handle is very easy to use. I was bit sceptic earlier to use it due to the height but it feels perfect. The cleaning tool is also very useful as you can remove the soil or stones stuck in the tooth holes easily. The product is very sturdy.A little watering before 1-2 days if aerating the garden would be useful as it will make grass moist and easy to aerate.Hope you find this review helpful.

The media could not be loaded. I've been meaning to aerate my lawn for a while now, so I decided to give this manual aerator a try. The built-in soil core storage tray seemed like a nifty feature to keep things tidy as I worked. Assembly was pretty straightforward, and I appreciated that it came with a little cleaning tool to help clear out the spikes if they got clogged up with dirt or rocks. The handle has a nice cushy grip too, which made it more comfortable to use for extended periods. I followed the instructions and watered my lawn beforehand to soften up the soil. It definitely made it easier to push the aerator into the ground. The spikes are hefty and made of a durable alloy material, so they really dig in deep. The soil core tray does a decent job of catching most of the plugs as you go, but it's not foolproof. I still had some stray bits of dirt flying out here and there. And when the tray gets full, you have to stop and empty it, which kind of breaks your rhythm. One thing I found a bit challenging was the amount of force needed to really drive the spikes deep into the soil. I'm not exactly a weakling, but after a while, my arms and back started to feel the burn! The foot bar helps with leverage, but it can be a little slippery if your shoes are muddy. The height of the aerator is alright for me (I'm about 5'8"), but I could see it being a bit awkward for taller folks who have to hunch over more. It would be nice if the handle was adjustable. After a couple hours of work, my lawn was thoroughly aerated, but I was definitely feeling it in my muscles. I guess that's the trade-off with a manual tool like this - it's eco-friendly and affordable, but requires more elbow grease. All in all, this lawn aerator gets the job done, but it's not without some minor flaws. The soil tray and cleaning tool are handy features, but be prepared for a bit of a workout, especially if you have a larger yard. If you dont mind putting in some manual labor, it's a solid choice for the price. Enda negativa är verktyget som följer med när det blir tätt i en av pipare, funkar bättre med ett borr att göra rent.
