Really good hoover has a good suction power picks up dirt fast and you don’t have to repeatedly go over to clean up carpets. The unit itself is heavy so requires some hard work, good cord length versatile vacuum cleaner works perfectly on floorboard and carpet, rugs.Overall good buy. Thanx to prime arrived next day.

I got this Shark Stratos XL to replace my old cordless one, which after 4+ years, was starting to lose suction, and just not doing as good a job as I wanted it to.This one was very easy to set up, everything basically clicks into each other, but the instructions are lovely and clear. I was also very pleased to see all the accessories and pieces were wrapped in brown paper, no plastic in sight!It did take me a minute or two to insert the anti-odour disc, I've never seen one of those before, and you have to insert it before first use. It was pretty simple to do though, you just remove it from the metal can it comes in, line up the arrows and push it into place, then turn it until it clicks, and choose your intensity level.After using it for the first time, I can honestly say this is in a whole other league. It is so powerful, it's cleaned my carpets and hard floors amazingly, my carpets look brand new again! I have young children, so I vacuum every day, sometimes more than once! But look at how much dust this picked up from my living room only, I was shocked! (see my photos)The accessories are great, you get a thin crevice tool, a wider surface tool, and then the pet tool, which also has the anti-hair wrap technology built in. The anti-hair wrap you get with a Shark is a huge positive for me personally, I've had other brands of vacuum over the years which don't have this, and I was forever pulling hair from the brush bar. Not with a Shark!You can use it multiple ways, so cleaning the stairs, under furniture, or getting rid of high up cobwebs etc, is a breeze!I will just say, that is is quite bulky in size. It's also much heavier than what I'm used to, and it will take me a while to get used to having a cord again, but overall I am very happy and impressed. This is the power I wanted from my cordless stick, but it just wasn't up the job. I would definitely recommend!

I found this to be a great purchase and a worthwhile investment. I upgraded from a Henry vacuum to a Shark, and it was a very positive experience. The cord is long enough and comes with extra accessories and brushes. It's easy to clean if something gets stuck, and the noise reduction feature is a nice bonus. Overall, it's high quality and functions well. It works exactly as promised.It provides cleaning options for high-pile carpets, low-pile carpets, and various types of flooring. It looks beautiful and is a fantastic idea for apartments, especially when it comes to saving space.

Great vacuum overall. I completely agree with other reviewers who say it is relatively heavy, however this is only felt when lift and manoeuvring. When in motion, bath and forth, it is manageable.Cleaning capabilities are amazing, as a corded vacuum there is no issue with loss of suction. The pet hair tool is terrible, but gets the job done with multiple passes. The anti hair wrap is great. Sometimes hair will still get wrapped around the brush but this is minimal at best. With more use they then to break away on their own without resorting to the scissors or a knife.The anti odour puck smells lovely. Similar to “ocean breeze” smells. However, finding replacements is tough and official ones through shark cost a ridiculous fortune!

I've had shark vacuums now for many years and this will be the 4th shark I've had. The design of these vacuums are second to none. As a professional cleaner, not wanting to buy commercial vacuums which are heavy, ugly and expensive, this particular shark vacuum is larger and extremely well made making it capable of the endurance work that I put it through everyday but so efficient and easy to use it's a joy to work with. This model even has an odour control pod which is a nice touch but might prove expensive as it's used so much. The lift away is perfect for stairs and high areas and so easy to lift away and and replace. The hose release is so easy making swapping from vacuuming floors to high areas a piece of cake. I honestly wouldn't have anything else. It is the perfect work mate and customers always compliment how clean and dust free their homes are. Considering the larger size of the vacuum, it's still light weight and easy to carry.
